Good friend of mine, La Sengphet made WSOPC history last night by winning her 3rd ring at The Bike in LA, which makes her the only female in wsopc history to have done this!

I watched the entire final table last night online live streaming and one of the most epic hands I have ever seen took place where she bluff-shoved the river w/ 7high, got called and was good for 1.2million chip pot, 5-handed!!!! Was absolutely insane. There was a really fun thread on my FB page last night about it where we talked about it, but basically the action was: sb opened big w/ 62s, La defended 74s, flop K85, bet/call, turn black Q, he checks she bets he CALLS, river J he check calls her over jam and she's good with the 7high!!!!

La and her bf, David Clark are traveling pros and he also has 2 wsopc rings. Here's a cute pic of them both with all their rings and an awesome article about them! Note that all 5 rings (6 if you count La's ladies' event pendant win as well) have been won in the past 12 months!!!

I think it's pretty interesting and awesome that recently two WSOPC records have been set, both by women....La Sengphet became the 1st female to win 3 rings in open events, and Jamie Kerstetter tied the record for most cashes in a single circuit series with 5 cashes!
