I was hit on once. Playing in a casino 1/2 game. Guy told me that I look like Tobey Maguire and wanted to buy me a drink. On that day I was 19.

It is pretty hilarious the way tables interact with women. Never seen anything noteworthy, luckily. Live small stakes poker players are the worst. Im sure people itt notice that none of them are married. This isn't to say they are more eager. Just not fun to be around on average. Sad.

I thought this was pretty funny. The guy berates me for how terrible it is to value bet AA, then he pays off my value bet.

I'm a man and this is what I think of the women I played live with : usually better than average male, usually on the conservative style and way more agressive than average male. Small sample size though. I discriminate you a little, as I usually give you more credit for being good than men on average.

Was just surfing through parts of 2p2 and found the forum and wanted to say...

fwiw, I enjoy having women around. On the poker tables they're fun to visit with and we've always had good times. One night a woman walked by the table a few times in a Deadwood, SD casino and I finally invited her over. She wanted to learn to play, but she obv was a bit scared of something new.

She finally bought in and a few of us actually helped her out with hand rankings, bets, etc. One guy was being a dick aqbout it and he was told to leave if he didn't like what was going on, she was LEARNING for krissakes. He did end up leaving when he became rude to her.

In choosing between a male or female, I've gone with the women for an accountant, car sales, dentist, etc. The only "guy" in my life is my colonoscopy guy! LOL

So I hope all you ladies realize there are men in the World who enjoy having ladies at the table, and it is still a mental game, and when it comes down to it, the ladies hold over most men in the World!
