i just wanted to share what i made tonight because it's healthy imo and thread needs more pix/healthy food porn.
ok, so i bought ground turkey, one red pepper, one small orange pepper (**** is 'spensive imo), scallions, one onion (white - sweet), and a tomato (i used plum tomatoes because i find them to be less acidic
).
so here's all of this on the pan:
you don't need to use much oil, i put onions in first, then the meat, and when the meat is about 70% cooked i threw the rest of the stuff in. i also used ground garlic pepper, regular pepper, a little bit of garlic powder, and a dash of salt.
i used ground turkey, a little bit of orange pepper, a lot of scallion, the tomato, and a LOT of onion for the stuffing.
then i cut the red peppers in half and cut out the seeds.
i stuffed the other half of the orange pepper that i didn't use.
then i sprinkled some cheese on it.
then i baked it for about 25 minutes.
i like it, imo.
