The latter.

If you had read her earlier posts in this thread, you would already have known that.

Oh well im young!
True enough, you don't have to get it all figured out right away. It's a long journey, with a lot of hills and switchbacks. Sometimes you will make a lot of progress even though it feels like you didn't get anywhere.

It might be worth a try to feel your folks out a bit about how they think about LGBT folks and trans people in particular. It could be that they are more open to the idea than you think. Sometimes people will surprise you; once in a while it's in a good way.

Glad to hear that you're getting out a bit, it's healthy. Stay strong.

Seriously, I don't know why she wasn't contained to this forum only on this account. It's a good place for her, and she clearly can't handle being let out. It's sad, but what can you do.
Great idea. Rofl at can't handle being let out, it is true keep me in my cage! I think its fair to say I play a big part of this thread (awesome brag).

Breanne never dies(come at me mods). I dont see why any mod itt would ban me for posting only here so il do that. BBV/bb4life are the only forums i act like a 12yearold.

Anyways,
Thanks amazon, il email you id like to speak with you on skype again. Life is hard..

haha lirva you're awesome. I wish you would share some of those mushrooms though you seem to be enjoying yourself.

There's a lot of insight in that video and I think if you put some study into it it could help you out imo. Mushrooms are like a door opener, use them to facilitate your journey imo.

As someone who has been banned a lot and pretty much constantly on the edge of a perma ban, (and also as someone who has similar feelings as you), I strongly strongly suggest doing whatever you can to not get perma banned, if at all possible. There are many great people here who can help you through a lot of ****, but this rich resource will be of no use to you if you are perma banned.

there is no hope for breanne1. If i sty out of bbv/bb4l I might be ok on here, but thanks good point 2p2 is great.

And psht you hippie, I dunno where to get mushrooms. I did enjoy them the few times i tried them in HS (except that one time when I had like a seizure lulz, still fun though), but Idk how to get them now. I should stay away from drugs atm, I could see myself getting into some hard drugs and trying to cure my depression that way.

Anyways, back on topic. Justin bieber is so cute!

You may act like a 12 yr old there, but the average post in those areas is from a 14 yr old, imo, and I really didn't understand why you got banned again. Maybe just solely typing "wat" when someone gave terrible advice on a stop-n-go in the MTT section? 2+2 prides itself about the "signal-to-noise" ratio idea. So if I disagree with someone about something, I generally try to explain my point clearly and spend way too much time over a post...haha, but that's a drawback about giving proper justification over contentious points of view.

I really do enjoy reading about the issues you are dealing with in terms of trying to figure out your identity, and I'm guessing many others are as well. And heck, you could be secretly helping out someone too shy to speak up as well!

Well you don't want to do the wrong kind of drugs. Hallucinogens like mushrooms really can help you gain greater insight into your life and your place in the world. I highly recommend taking some and meditating out in the woods. Just make sure you take psychedelic ones, they bruise purple/blue.

I probably really wouldn't suggest drugs to someone who is already admitting to mental health issues. That's one of the easiest ways to screw it all up now that everything seems under control.

Mushrooms aren't harmful to mental health. Just the opposite in fact.

I definitely agree with this, they can be very therapeutic. Of course if i touched cocaine or something my life would probably not last very long in my mental state. But I don't know anyone, so probably won't be doing that.

tldr^.

Yes I am a gay male. My real name is Tom and I'm 25 years old and from Buffalo,NY. I'm not a professional poker player but have aspirations to be one and truly love the game. I really wanted to go pro and before black friday I had started to really focus on my game and put a lot of work in to get to that point. After loosing my bankroll on FTP I got pretty discouraged and stopped playing until recently.

More recently (around January/February) I really got sick of the life that I was living. I realized that I was 25 years old and was very unhappy with about every aspect of my life. I had pretty much stopped playing poker and I was still struggling with being gay. I had decided that this year I was going to make some changes and come out of the closet as well as get back into poker again and try and make it to Vegas for the WSOP.

I was really surprised to read that Jason had come out of the closet and was very interested to read his blog. After reading his blog and listening to him on the 2+2 podcast I was really amazed to see how similar his story was to what I had been threw and felt. Jason was also kind enough to listen to me and give me some advice which helped a ton. I just recently came out to most of the people that I know and have been happier then I can ever remember.

I also started to play online poker again. I started with $30 and have been grinding DoN's on merge. They aren't the most exciting things to play but with such a small bankroll I figured it was a good place to start. The plan is to grind up enough money so I can go play some of the Venetian deepstack events and possibly a few satellites for a 1k event. I never had a chance to go to Vegas to play a WSOP event and it's been a dream of mine to go play in ond but I would be ecstatic just to be able to go and grind some deepstack events at the Venetian.

I've never had any gay friends or had a boyfriend before so the next step I'm taking is to put myself out there and meet some new people. I've joined a couple sites and hope to meet some new people that I can be friends with or with some luck enter a relationship with.

Really great read^ thanks for sharing. Sucks how much you've struggled with your sexuality its always different for everyone, but 25 is still young! Plenty of boyfriends to come, great times etc. I too have never had a boyfriend, you will find someone! Best of luck.

Sucks about FTP, doesn't look good atm best of luck with that and best of luck with poker in general.

Great story, Roush. I'm almost in the same boat as you...I have one gay friend and recently moved to another state so Im starting over from scratch at 30 :-/ It's still fun though Best of luck as well.

Since we're opening up, I wanted to ask a question here. I realize this isnt a dating advice thread but I hope somehow writing this could help assuage what I'm going through. This might sound really lame but I think I'm obsessed with one of my former professors. Really handsome guy...early 40s, sandy blonde hair, snappy dresser, very intelligent.

I've been out of college for a year now but whenever I'm "with someone" I almost always close my eyes and fantasize about him. I feel really guilty immediately afterwards but it keeps happening time and again. It feels so unhealthy and I don't know what to do about it. I don't walk around pining over him all day or anything like that...just when I'm...ya know. I'm thinking more time will help but god its been a year already. I think there's some underlying issues as to why I'm fixated on him but it just seems so irrational. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, are there things that can be done to make it go away
