Hi Ladies!

While the main meetup will of course be at the 2+2 Party at the Wynn on July 7th, I wanted to suggest a get together the night before the ladies' event for dinner at the Cosmopolitan's Buffet: The Wicked Spoon at 7PM on June 30th.



I think dinner is around $30 per person (+Drinks, tax, and tip). This is by far my favorite buffett on the Strip, and the casino has a slightly girly flair that I think will make for fun times and photo ops (by the giant high-heeled shoes imo). Maybe we can all go and register for the event at the Rio afterwards, or have a drink at the Chandelier bar. TWSS Rally FTW!

my fail-proof buffet strategy: eat as much as physically possible before your brain has time to tell your stomach that it's full.

A buffet is a terrible place to schedule a meet up like this. Everyone is constantly getting up and leaving the table so conversation at buffets is usually subpar.

I'm not really a tournament player and I'm not planning on playing the ladies' event.

But I'd love to come "carb load" with all of you at the Cosmo!

I disagree. A buffet is actually a good place to meet up in that people can hang out for a while without feeling pressure to give up their table, they can take as long as they want between courses, the check is easier to divide since everyone just needs to pay for their drinks/tips after paying for food before eating, people can show up late without it delaying anyone, and it is much easier to move around/change seats in order to talk to everyone than it would be at a restaurant.

Plus, the Cosmo buffet is pretty posh, I've never waited in line for more than 5 minutes, and I <3 the food.

Feel free to pass on it if you think my idea is "terrible," or if a lot of people would rather have it somewhere else then of course let's talk about that.

I was thinking it was a great idea to have it at a buffet, because I'm a really picky eater and everyone is going to find something they like. And yeah, people are getting up, but it's not like you can't get back to your conversation when you get back, or talk to other people.

But I'm not sure I want to commit because I suck at planning so far in advance. Can I give a tentative yes?
