Because I throughly enjoyed Moshman's books on SNGs and heads up NLHE, I purchased this ebook. Considering the price ($3.50) and comprehensive range of topics expertly covered, "Pro Poker Strategy" may be the best value ever in poker books.

Well done, highly recommended!

The first several versions of this book were put on the back-burner because I never seemed to have enough time, and there was always some other non-fiction poker book I was working on.

But, as Katie pointed out, Black Friday meant that I suddenly had 60 free hours a week that I didn't have before. So since then, (except during the WSOP) I shifted my focus to editing the book. It's a fast-paced thriller meant for an audience that loves this type of genre fiction (like Grisham, Brown, Locke, etc.), and I co-wrote it with my husband.

In case anyone's curious here's the description:

When a punk poker superstar loses millions in a mysterious game, he hires disgraced champion and ex-cop Grisham Stark to investigate. As Stark confronts cold-blooded players in Monte Carlo and Las Vegas, he realizes his one shot at redemption is to catch the most dangerous poker cheat of all time: the Superuser.

Behind the scenes, a politician is hijacking the scandal to wage a legislative battle in Washington. A beautiful female player is blackmailed into hiding a deadly secret that threatens to unravel the entire deception, and the ruthless Superuser is killing anyone who dares stand in his way.

Grisham Stark will ultimately face a terrifying question: Is the Superuser’s final goal far more than money?
Im a big fan of John Grisham

I think Ill bite this one ...

I was of that opinion once as I love books, although I can honestly say my kindle is the nuts. So much so, I left one on the train once and snap-bought another despite the cost.

I could explain why it's so good, but you'll only be convinced if and when you buy one .

Edit: FWIW, it totally doesn't diminish the whole curling up with a book, reading experience.

Purchased on my Kindle, and will post a short review after reading.

For those wondering about the Kindle/ereader experience, I was once very skeptical it could replace my books. I collected hardbacks for many years and have a library room that became filled with about as many as it can comfortably hold. I've read 50 to 75 new books a year for most of my adult life. So when the library became full, my wife got me a Kindle.

The experience is very satisfying and does a good job of mimicking a book. I have a couple minor issues, one of which I think is resolved in the newer models (I got the first Kindle model). The navigation buttons are easy to press inadvertently (on my model) when holding the device like a book. And the other thing is that not all books are available in the format, even some new books. Other than that, Kindle rocks for me. Be sure to get the leather cover, it feels a lot better than the naked device.

+1 I think it's actually easier to curl up with a digital book.
