Re: PokerStars Women's Sunday

My God.....I miss PS. I remember winning one of the firsts women's sunday special.
Not having pokerstars has really made me think if all the hard work (all the studying, all the reading, all the HH reviews) are even worth it. Online poker was perfect for me sine there is not much live poker where I live...

Re: PokerStars Women's Sunday

Just wanted to mention it's the Women's Sunday's first birthday on March 25th. We'll be celebrating witha double guarantee ($20,000) and double Team Pro bounties ($100) with a free €2.20 satellite ticket for all who play, or €215 satellite tickets for final table players.

There will also be a live Web Chat on birthday night at 14.00 ET hosted by Adrienne Rowsome with Team Pro special guests, competitions and general chit-chat. Hope you'll stop by.

Thanks to everyone who's played in the last year you've helped make a success of the tourney, and given us a reason to celebrate this anniversary.

Best wishes to rest of the ladies elsewhere in the world who can play in this.

Re: PokerStars Women's Sunday

I'll be there.

however, Joanne, can you do something about the structure for the Women's Sunday. It is much faster than any of the other special NLHE and plays like a turbo.

I have been complaining about it for a while, and Adrienne and I have discussed it and she agrees...

Thanks for the feedback on the tourney. I'll pass that on to the tourney team and see if we can make a change.

Re: PokerStars Women's Sunday

Also, is there any discussion about changing the time of the tournament? The Women's Sunday (like all major mtts) start at around 4am Monday morning here in Australia. I never get to play because I have to go to work

I know its probably not possible, but thought I would at least bring it to your attention.

Re: PokerStars Women's Sunday

Hi Ophelia,

I understand the Women's Sunday isn't on at the best time for your region. If there was demand for a women's tourney for Aus/NZ we'd certainly look into setting something up. We expanded the Women's Poker League and there should be a $5.50 league game that suits your timezone, might not suit you but just to let you know. :-) Thanks for your feedback, and best wishes.
