What kind of spider is this? It looks like little miss muffet sat on it...but I know almost nothing about spiders lol.

It looks pet-able and soft, I cannot be scurrrred of it.

It is an Avicularia metallica tarantula and it's as gentle as a kitten imo

I do think it is cute actually. I'm not scurrred.

In other news, my cat looks poised to take over grinding for me:

This is video footage of the late Rambo. He was found severely dehydrated and hypothermic hanging from the door of the local vet surgery in a plastic bag.

He bit the vet, the nurse, the nurse's boyfriend, and then got passed on to me. He was never really handleable by anyone else, but we became very well bonded.
