Just an FYI for any female poker players in Miami:

Casino Miami Jai Alai is starting a Women's Poker League this month. A $50 tourney the third Wednesday of the month. You accumulate points and the best 20 at the end of the year play in a special tournament.

I'm unsure about any other information or structure. However, if you live in SoFla, thought you may be interested in this since Ive never seen anything like it down here.

*I played it last year- I don't remember the details too well about how stringent they were on making it one man/one woman per team, but I do remember individuals coming in on tournament day that were willing to pair up with other randoms looking.
*I also think (but my memory is pretty bad so I could be completely wrong) that all the men played one the same round/all the women played on the same round last year, though I could be wrong... if this were the case, it would essentially be like a Ladies event for the rounds you are playing.
*It was fun! In general you get much better fold equity to bluff Just make sure your partner doesn't bash you too hard for it and that you can defend the situation was right for it, lol.

Caesars also has two NLHE tag team tourneys in their series (Tues, 6/25 and Thurs, 7/4), though I'm pretty sure these are not geared towards "guys and dolls" /"couples" style.
