I played the VDS women's event this summer, my first ladies only event. Busted within the first hour, AK vs JJ AI OTT with a KJxx board. Ah well.

Arriving in Vegas on Sun, Nov 6th. I will be playing in the Aria 7pm on Sun night and in their 1pm/7pm if needed on Monday and Tuesday.

Moving to the Palazzo on Wed and probably gonna play the $150 bounty at the Venetian that day. Then the Ladie's on Thursday...hopefully still in it on Friday. If not will probably do another $150 bounty.

Small correction - now at the Aria through Wed night. I just can't turn down their $89 a night rooms when the Palazzo is $149. Still moving there for Thurs and Frid night though!

PCA Ladies Event is Jan 13-14 this year. I'll be going in part to do some writing for Stars and also to play the Ladies Event. I'd like to go earlier in the week though for some sides and some sun... any ladies lurking who are going for the whole week/playing the Main and want to chop a room, I'm definitely interested. There's a decent deal going on at the Atlantis website, but still ~$300 for a room.

looks like i might be able to sneak up to vegas for this, after all, mainly due to a nice local FT score this past weekend. Will be around playing the STTs they run, as I've found them to be massively +EV, then hopefully the ladies' on thurs.

I won't be able to play the women's event on the Sunday, but I'll almost certainly be playing the Friday 11 am $450 NLHE event. If anyone is in AC next Friday, stop by the Borgota, look for a short chubby redhead, and say hi!

As much as I love playing at the Borgata, the structure for the Fall Open ladies event is really crappy. I'm actually considering playing the other event that day instead. It's almost a guarantee I'll probably be the only female.

I meant the open event on the same day as the ladies event. The structures for the other prelims are so much better than the ladies event. It's almost unfair

I didn't check out the structure of the women's event since I won't be there that day, but if it was substantially worse than an open I'd play the open as well.

I hate when they overcharge for a tournament with a ****ty structure. My only local casino (Hollywood in WV) has only two tournaments (Tuesday AM and Wednesday PM) and they are basically turbos, but they significantly overcharge, because they can, since it's the only (legal) game in town.

The prelim Borgata events look very similar, structure wise, to the Venetian series, which I love. A little pricier, but still decent value, IMO.
