This is pretty embarrassing, but several months ago I accidentally played the wrong playlist in my itunes on my laptop and Shania Twain's greatest hits were blaring for a while before I realized what had happened. Well, since then, I have found myself enjoying Shania's greatest hits while I grind. Like even the real drippy, sad love songs. 
My bf is not thrilled. I play it really loud.

Usually I listen to The Killers, The Clash, Silversun Pickups, Muse, The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys... but lately I have been craving oldies. 
I must look like the biggest dork in the world singing "Build Me Up Buttercup" at the top of my lungs with 24-tables up, lol.
I am remarkably good at finding a hidden "poker trueism" within every song.

Sometimes I'll play it on repeat a couple of times at the start of a tourney and will play it again (often on repeat) if I'm starting to feel tired or need to get over a bad beat / bad play. I'll usually listen to a mix of songs when I'm playing, too many to mention but my favourites are PJ Harvey, QOTSA, or some Sick of it all if I'm in a hardcore mood, but I've just found out about these guys (easy star all-stars, check out radiodread) and I'm already downoading their songs for my next sunday morning session.. I'm loving the cover of paranoid android

Shania Twain is awesome. This is coming from someone who dislikes country.

Untouched is a very good song imo

I'm a weird girl. Many of the bands you guys list i've never heard of, lol.
My playlist is solidly in the electronic arena. Trance, progressive house, breakbeats, that's my ball of wax. They make me feel upbeat and happy.
Sasha, Tiesto, BT, Freestylers, Groove Armada, Sander Kleinenberg, LCD Soundsystem, Above and Beyond, Way Out West, etc.
a lot of it is on itunes, but sometimes I'll tune into di.fm and pick a random channel so I can find new artists.
Other times, I watch movies or play an MMO when i'm down to one table. I'm so ADD that it's really hard for me to play online (so many distractions). I'm working on this, though

I usually listen to my last.fm radio station (carolineno1971) which I love, & it's pretty much a no-brainer unless the 'puter is being wonky. Anyone else on last.fm? My station is fairly schizo
