OK, it's almost that time again, the BCA (Billiard Congress of America) National 8 ball Championships at the Riviera starting May 9.

I'll be coming in the evening of May 10 and start playing singles on Sat the 12th, then have a break for a few days until we start playing teams on Wednesday the 16th. Probably leave town on Sunday.

In between matches, I'll have plenty of time for some poker and hanging out with whomever is in town.

Haven't made my room reservation yet; usually I stay across the street at Circus Circus because it's cheaper, but thinking about Homestead Suites this time around so I can do some of my own cooking. Any opinions on them? They have a location at 3045 S. Maryland Pkwy and another 1550 East Flamingo Road. Also there is an Extended Stay America at 4270 S. Valley View Blvd, but that's a bit further away. Would like to hear any news good or bad about these.

I've officially decided to attempt to raise money to play the ME, which would obviously extend my Vegas stay.

So I'll definitely be in town for the party, and until I bust the ME if I raise enough to play the ME.

I arrive the same day! Will be there til June 6th then coming back home - then back in Vegas on June 22 for about 10-12 days.

Sounds like I will miss the 2+2 party which is a shame - we all had such a blast last year.

Well I was going to be there from June 22 - July 4. But totally because of this party that I can't bear to miss I will now be there from June 25 - July 7 lol.

This party better be good - it is costing me over $400 to stay those extra 3 nights lol.

Oh - but guess who will have a crash pad at the Vdara for any LV residents who can't drive home? lol (not suggesting hotjenny will be unable to get home that night......)

Tentatively planning on June 23-28 (about 75% sure I'm coming) to coincide with the Sacramento Rivercats playing at Cashman Field the 23-26th.
