Have you guys seen the WSOP schedule for this year yet? All the exciting games are scheduled towards the early part, I'm missing some good events going so late.

I'm really excited about the all-ante $1,500, and the doubles tournament (though that's not a bracelet event). I think those are pretty late in the schedule.

ty and the problem that you're going to have with the doubles tourney is that it starts on day two of the ladies event. unless you're planning on multi-tabling.
The all-ante event sounds insanely fun.

Dunno if y'all have heard, but the forum software is getting updated, and any thread that doesn't have posts in February is getting archived.
As such feel free to "bump" any older threads you think might be important to post in down the road.

Re: *Here's to New Beginnings, Welcome 2012!* (NC)
Last night I sat at a $1/$3 NL table at Caesars after busting the 7pm tourney in 12th (9 paid), which was after bailing from the Orleans because I would have been alternate #60 in their 7pm tourney (and I showed up close to 30 min before start time).
Anyway, the guys at the table made a comment about a woman sitting at the table, and the guy next to me explained that it was because "nobody at this table trusts women."
I proceeded to open 3 of the first 4 hands at the table. Interesting dynamic because I felt that some of them just wanted to stay out of my way and some of them started gunning for me.
One got so annoyed that he said that "there's no way I could possibly be Jewish" after I tipped the dealer an extra dollar on a huge pot. Announced very loudly that what he said was completely inappropriate and highly offensive to Jewish people, which then got the next table into the conversation as well. He ended up dusting off a couple of buy-ins, a huge chuck of which went to me.
Then another guy got 86'ed because he flipped out that my friend (who finished 6th in the tourney) was standing behind me, and she and I were having a convo w/the guy to my left. The floor handled it quickly and professionally.
Typical Friday night at the LV poker tables . . .

When playing dailies, I often feel that "recreational" players often are like this with me; it seems like many of them really want to bluff me out in crazy way, but some of them soft play me (say by 10xing in the SB to my BB when they've been 3xing--then showing me AA). Deducing which men are which type has been a great improvement to my live game.
Also, I miss internet pokerz.

Hooray, it's my 3rd anniversary! And Collin's taking me for a staycation somewhere on the strip, and I really don't know where. I love surprises!
Thanks @Katie75013 for taking Wilbur.

I'm gonna guess he's taking her to the one place that best epitomizes what marriage is really like.

Ha, ha. Joke so far has been that it's Sahara-- which I guess would make for an interesting breaking and entering, ghost hunting anniversary.
