This is the year-

That I finally go from being a pretender to contender.

That I stop holding back from all that I am and all that I can become.

That I let my light shine and refuse to allow it to be extinguished.

That I get back to the WSOP & WPT

That every TD in SoCal gets familiar with my name again

That I play. And play. And keep playing, not letting anything get in my way.

That I start becoming a champion.

I'd love to say I will start and keep with an exercise program that my poor broke-down body can handle, but I say that all the time and fail to follow through.

Keep trying, it's worth it

The more you exercise, the easier it gets, I promise! Eventually it becomes something you enjoy and don't want to go without. Start small, like going for a 20 minute walk as often as you can.

+1, except you gotta find something you enjoy first imo. I used to maybe work out a couple of times a week (if I was lucky), but then I found tennis and now I spend an absurd amount of time on the courts If it's a chore, it'll never stick.

Nice! My boyfriend used to play tennis sometimes, so I think we are going to try to play together. I hope I like it as much as you do!
