Just shot you a message. You should see a little flashing envelope up in the top right corner of your 2p2 screen.

Re: Providing MTT Coaching at all stakes

Had a pretty busy week and just caught up on some messages I'd let slip. Pretty sure I got everyone, but let me know if you messaged me and I failed to get back in touch. Thanks.

Jay
So I'm gonna brag about Jay because he is, as of right now, I think the student of mine who has binked the largest score. Got this PM from Jay back in May 2011:

Then this Skype message about 13 months later:

[6/30/2012 12:31:19 PM] Jay: Yo matt
[6/30/2012 12:31:24 PM] Jay: Thanks for ur coaching
[6/30/2012 12:31:53 PM] Jay: Ive been runner up in wsop 2.5k this week
[6/30/2012 12:31:57 PM] Jay: !!!

Which was for not too much, just like 430k or so? Anyway, definitely not trying to imply that I was responsible for this victory -- Jay was a good player in his own right when he came to me and he worked really hard to keep improving. And variance exists! But this is still the sort of message that always makes you want to keep coaching. Grats Jay.

Re: Providing MTT Coaching at all stakes

Hi, just want to give my recommendations to Matt, he is very professional in his approach, provides in-depth hand analysis and general advices on your play, ranges etc. Had some great sessions with Matt and a few binks after as well..

Regards
Niels

Hi mate, not trying to be a dick atall and there's a very good chance I'll be getting coaching from you in the near future, I'm just curious at to why you're -60k on FT and your scope is blocked for PS?

Re: Providing MTT Coaching at all stakes

I have no idea why my Sharkscope is blocked on PS, I don't think I ever requested that. Can you look on OPR instead? Anyway, will try to sort it out. I'm up a good bit on there.

As to why I'm -60k on FTP, I'd like an answer to that as well. Probably the most accurate answer is that I played a lot of big buyin tourneys on FTP -- lots of 1Ks, 100Rs, 100Cs, Brawls, 750Ks, maybe a dozen FTOPs -- and I am stuck heaps in all of those big buyin events. I suspect I'm stuck more than 60k on FTP in 1Ks and 100Rs alone. And my sample size in those tourneys on FTP is probably <200. So my guess for why I ended my FTP career stuck is that I ran very bad the big buyin tourneys on that site, and I never put the volume in that a lot of super-grinders did to overcome that runbad.

All that said, the explanation might just be that the little cartoon avatars tilted me really bad. Anyway, will look into the PS Sharkscope thing. If they require some sort of opt-in -- for instance, me sending them a penny from my Stars account -- that will be a problem as I'm in the US. But we'll see.
