Thank you for giving me the opportunity to offer my coaching services to the members of 2+2. Since April 15 I have more free time to coach players, both foreign and domestic. I miss online poker. I miss the play, the competition and the comradery with the other pro players. Over the years I have coached players instilling in them my knowledge and strategies. I get a feeling of pride and satisfaction from their success. Since I cannot play, I will coach.

What I will coach

I am a single table tournament (STT) specialist, both 6-man and 9-man, proficient in turbo, super-turbo and regular formats. I have successfully coached players to win (or win more) at the 6-man and 9-man STT. I have never used an ICM program, nor HUD. In an age where use of these programs is common, developing a style contra to the masses is crucial. I will provide references upon request.

What I offer

I am a graduate of the*University of Arizona, and have a financial business background. I have excellent communication skills with the ability to easily put my thoughts into words, and explain my strategies in simple, easy to understand concepts. I am extremely patient and attentive to my clients.

I offer my coaching services via email, skype, team viewer, and all electronic communication. The coaching relationship will begin with a free ½ hour consultation. This will give the client an opportunity to judge if my services and “teaching personality” will be a benefit to them.

If we decide to go forward I will first determine the skill level of the client. I can quickly and easily categorize STT players into 5 levels. Level 1 are players that understand hand ranges; Level 2 are those that understand hand ranges and ICM; Level 3 are those who understand hand ranges, ICM and post flop play; Level 4 are those who also understand how to read hands of opponents, images of opponents, and how to manipulate their own image; Level 5 are those that know how to apply all these skills effectively, and begin to use their own creativity.

My goal is to move the player through the spectrum so they will be a feared Level 5 player.

I use team viewer to follow the clients' real-time play, speak via skype, and use IM and email to attain full communication with client.

Cost

I charge $65/hr, 5hrs/$250. I will give free 20+ HH review via email, for each hour purchased.

I have played with Peter (jaxtraw) at the 6 man turbo SNG a lot the past year and always hated having him in the games. He is a great thinking player who you do not want to see at your table. While I didn't like the name jaxtraw because he hurt my potential profits, I have had the pleasure of meeting up with him a couple of times recently and have a lot of respect for him.

We talked about some hands and he really understands the game. I am sure he would make a great coach, and is very analytical. Besides all of that, he is a very nice person and for the price as him as a coach I am sure would pay off.

I played a ton of 6max turbo sng's with Jaxtraw over the past year or so. He was always one of the most solid/tough regulars in the games. He's a very thinking player, along with being tricky and non-standard which makes him tough to play against. He's also been around a long time, so has a lot of experience to fall back on.

Plus one to Jaxtraw being an excellent 6max/9max coach, I say this from personal experience. He quickly and effectively spotted and fixed leaks. He has a unique approach to the game and the ability to explain his ideas in a very strait forward manner. He never looked at the clock when giving a lesson and usually ran way over the allotted time.

Just browsing the forums and noticed Jaxtraw's name. I don't know the guy and have never had any contact with him, but have played alot with him with in $60/$78 6 max turbos.

He was definitely one of the toughest regs in those games and obviously has a very good understanding of the game. His prices look like a steal.

Also says alot he is getting high praise from players such as Ulsteinvikar, foreman and knifefish...all fantastic SNG players.

hey i would like to get the coach for sng and i have to say that my native lenguaje is spanish and im not the richest guy so i think i have to start with some low levels i have been trying to 15 dolars fifty 50 sng on poker stars and i cant actually book a win yet. so if u think u can help me well lets talk about the coaching and thank u very much for this oportunity for guys like me who love the game and never get results
