Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

very good post Banana. Ryan reviewed my HH too and I agree with you he explain everything in detail. Imo it is much better that someone review your whole match where he can clearly see all your and villain actions through the match and than points you on your leaks and your opponent leaks that you should exploit. And I can say that Ryan does excellent job doing that.

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

I recently started working with ChiRy again after playing for a while without doing any coaching.

I think it is very easy for those of us in the $50-$200 range to get comftorable with our game and not spend nearly enough time trying to get better. Letting ChiRy go over a few of my HHs was a good reminder of how coaching and training should be an ongoing process and how much room for improvement there actually is.

He is very easy to work with and gives great insight. He is also one of the best priced coaches out there.

Overall: A+ 98%

-2% for no Pics of his GF yet... :-D

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

I started coaching with Ryan this month and can highly recommend him as a coach.
Not only he knows his stuff but is a very good coach aswell. He can explain situations well and finds spots for alternative lines i didnt even consider.
All in all i give him 99 out of 100
-1% Mostly because he s teaching other playersl like JQIVJQIV who owned me easily.
And his price is def. a bargain

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

Hello, I been playing on and off in HUSNGS and I found them to be very profitable playing them but I obviously need more training since I'm at -600! I went up on my stats but after having horrible loses I started tilting and losing money more constantly so that's why I am at -600. After that loss I had since stopped playing and well I was wondering what kind of coaching would you teach me if I have lost all my HH's that I had in FTP and Pokerstars. Unless there is a way to retrieve HH's so that you could help me with my game!

Hi hchazari,

You can retrieve your hand histories on PokerStars by going to "Requests" and clicking "Hand History." Probably select the "1 week" option. If that's not far enough back, just email support@pokerstars.com and tell them what you're looking for.

On Full Tilt, I believe you need to go to their website and look on the player control panel. This link might work: www.my.fulltiltpoker.com/nl/hand-history

I've had issues with it not working in the past, just email Full Tilt support if you can't figure it out and they should point you in the right direction.

Another suggestion is just to play a few games, select a HH with plenty of decision making within it, and use that for review. Reviewing a game a few months ago is more likely to be less relevant and less indicative of your thought process and decision making skills today.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Coaching Review

So I came back to poker in December after a long break and contacted ChicagoRy about some coaching. I was playing the 30$ games at the time. I sent him a HH of me playing against an aggressive donk-bettor and 2 weeks later another HH against an aggressive 3bettor, those were 2 types of players I was having some trouble with and with his detailed reviews and good advice he helped me through. Today I played a 50$ reg who was 3betting like a madman. At one point I flatted a 3bet with Q9s and the guy cbet on A84r, I remembered what Ryan taught me in that HH about attacking those guys on dry flops, I raised him and he insta-folded. That hand reminded me that I need to write a review for Ryan and here I am. I beat the crap out of this reg and felt really confident in my strategy and it was thanks to a single HH I sent a month ago.

I also purchased a leakfinder from him, I sent him 30 minutes of footage and got back two videos totaling in about 2 hours (!). He really went through every spot in great detail and I felt I got way more than what I paid for, the discounts he offers for videos posted on husng.com is just sick value, and his HH pricing is also lower than it should be.

Today I'm playing the 50$ and 80$ games on FTP and will no doubt continue to work with Ryan in the future. I highly recommend his services to any aspiring husng player.

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

I have never been very active in any poker forum (as u can see in my post count here) nor put too many hours in actually trying to get better and better, but have had decent results so far. So recently I have been trying to change that and take my game to the next level. So I decided to have a HH reviewed by ChicagoRy for starters. I definetely got all my moneys worth. His detailed analysis of hands is very inspiring and has made me take notice of more details in every game and hand . It has also raised my level of confidence entering a game. I will most certainly continue having HH`s reviewed by him in the near future.

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

Coaching Review!

Background:

A little bit less than a month ago, I started trying out HUSNGs. I had almost zero experience in HU play but found the format very interesting and I quickly wanted to learn more.

I read some posts here on 2+2 and came across HUSNG.com, which turned out to be a perfect learning ground with many great coaches and awesome material.

During this time I continue to play Turbo HUSNGs on the $11.50 and $23 level with some decent success.

However, from the videos I watched at HUSNG.com I knew that I had loads of leaks. Because of this I was looking forward getting an experienced coach view on my game and my leaks and how to combat them.

Coaching:

This all lead to me contacting Ryan (ChicagoRy) with a request for a leakfinder video review.

First of all, I would like to say that Ryan is very proffesional and although I am sure he has alot on his plate, he was very quick in responding and eventually also to make the leakfinder video. He also made me feel very comfortable even though I knew that I am a beginner at this game format.

In the videos (turned out to be two matches as the first was very short) Ryan went through hand by hand and really explained in depth about the situations that came up.

I can honestly say that it has completely changed the way I approach my matches and I intend to put Ryan's advice into use and also to continue to work with him as a coach in the future.

The value is completely unbeliveble, I mean just take a look at the prices and think what it is worth to your game. Anyone that is serious about climbing the HUSNG ladder and to take their game to the next level is making themselves a great favor in consulting Ryan about his coaching services.

Good luck at the tables guys and thanks to Ryan for his time and effort.

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

Hey guys…
I’m posting here to recommend Ryan services as a coach … specifically his Hand History reviews. They are the nuts. For the price, I don’t think you can better VALUE.

Watching a video of someone else playing is cool. But the benefits of receiving detailed analysis of YOUR OWN play for an ENTIRE MATCH can’t be overstated. For me, it was the next logical step after getting a standard membership from HUSNG.com

I think getting personalized Hand History Reviews GREATLY shortened the time my leaks were plugged, partly because Ryan pointed out bad tendencies I wasn’t even aware of. I had watched a TON of videos. I thought my play was solid. But Ryan pointed out I was too passive in some spots, too aggressive in other spots, and my late game… well… no wonder why Villains kept coming back.

Back then, I had Ryan review three games I had vs. a tough opponent. I was playing the $5 regs, a decent winner, but not getting the winrate I thought I should have. Getting coached was a good chunk of my poker bankroll at the time.

Well... I’m now crushing the $10’s, averaging about a 60% winrate per month. I’ll be in the $20’s soon. A lot of the credit goes to Ryan.

I highly recommend him as a coach.

I can recommend Ryan as a coach. He has a deep understanding of the game and is a good teacher aswell. Not to speak that he seems to be what i understand as a"good guy".

I had 5 live session with him so far and I think I improved my game steadily

Re: Heads Up SNG Coaching (As Low As $20)

Recently I recieved a HH review written by Ryan. I didn't realise that even the smallest details, which he mentions can have such big influence on the quality of my game. Let me point out that my friend who taught me all the HUSNGs basics (he's a reg from 100$ to 500$) can't really explain me much more. He says that he just "feels the game" and that's all. In turn Ryan can explain all aspects of the game taking into account and fixing (if necessary) the thinking process. To sum up i'm very satisified with the effects of his work and i can recommend him to any player willing to become better and better in poker.
