re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com
Hi Peter,
Apparently you expected to win a lot of money after 2 coaching sessions. Even the best players (like Skaiwalkurr) have downswings because of the variance. I can't play the games for you, so don't blame me when you lose. I am still doing great so there can't be too much wrong with my strategy.
You are free to give comments on my coaching but it is not fair to say that you lose because of me. There are other factors that weight heavier, for example if you can translate the things that i teach to your own game and tilting etc.
I wish you good luck with your game and I will return the money of the 2 1/2 hour coaching that you still have left.
Bernard

Bernard sorry it was really "OLE tilt" as RJRJ said..This is one of the worst downswing what I ever had in term of red line and it happened right after our coaching and probably its really only variance.I have no experience with things like this..Also its possible I missused some new information..And I really get a lot of new informations from you..Time to time I am on tilt like this and then I feel bad about myself next day...If it would be possible I would take every word back now and give it little more time-games.Because now not you looks as bad coach but me as an idiot..
RJRJ
Really dont understand why you wrote here about me bailed out of and didnt mentioned you was in Jamaica (you told me about that vacation before our deal)and then u had a personal issues (what I feel sorry about that). However I was waiting more then one month..I sent you money 13.6.2012 and 17.7.2012 you wrote to me about your personal issues.22.7.2012 you was ready for booking a session. At that time I find bernardc. Also you didnt mentioned that while u had a personal issues u was tilting hard in chat at 15s dollars buy-ins.I understand it happen to even good coach-player if he have a trouble..But you must understand that people want to bailed out coaching from him.. So I decided I want rather coaching from bernardc..Only problem was you already sent me some hand history..But you took a fee for that what is fair...But I dont get why you started talking about our personal things here.Discretion should be a basic rule of bussines..
I payed the money so I have the right to post feedback good or bad!I am looking as an idiot after posting graph and volume like that?Yeah but its my problem and my fault.

re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com
I shouldn't be wasting any more time on this but ok one more response. I didn't mention I was on vacation but I told you before the deal I'd be going to Jamaica. I mean that's just special. I came home on the 15th I think and you messaged me on the 17th after which I told you I was having a personal issue and that you should leave your e-mail adress which you didn't.
I have won $170000 playing HU. How is me "tilting" in a $15 chat of any relevance?!
Maybe I should not have shared the fact that you have tiltissues some times. I don't know if that was on the edge or over the edge. Regardless when it comes to descretion I don't want to be anywhere near the edge so I apologize for that.
I guess I was dead-on with my analyisis tough for what that's worth. I believe I handled you wanting out of our deal professionaly and I think it's horrible to ruin someone 's coachingthread and possibly his reputation by bashing out in such a redicilous way in someone's coaching thread. You can throw your mouse or even your laptop across the room but you don't blame other for your screw-ups or bad luck or whatever you want to call it. I would like to leave it at this because I have already wasted enough time.

I must say Bernard has helped me tremendously, especially when it comes to LAG players. That's what I struggled with before his coaching. I think I have a great edge on tag and passive players and now with bernard's coaching I enjoy playing lag players.
His charts are great but must be used with caution. They are chip + ev but at the same time, you may get a better edge by having a different approach against a specific player.
He's definately helped me analyse hands pre and postflop after only 2 sessions. In our second session I addressed some of the situations I found difficult playing and explained me his reasoning for each situation ...
I still have 2 hours left but I'm up 1k+ in the last week in 30$ hyper's and a good portion of this is due to bernard and the way he has helped me think and approach hyper turbs.
I think the best way to approach is coaching is take about a week or so to apply what you have learned after each session. That way, if you have some things that you are unsure of you can address that in the following session.
Two thumbs up !

RJRJ
You was tilting at 15s and you had a personal issues..I decided for other coach..I hope you got a point. You took your fee for HHs..I didnt share this HHs with other people as I promised you.
So whats your problem?Who you are that you are talking to me what I can do and what I cant?
I was on tilt yesterday and I posted stupid post..Not stupid because it was a negative feedback (I hope negative feedback is also allowed) but because lol volume so there was no reason for that also form of my post was stupid.
"You can throw your mouse or even your laptop across the room but you don't blame other for your screw-ups or bad luck or whatever you want to call it"
So if student is succesfull after coaching than its a merit of coach but if student is unsuccessfull then its only students fault? This is your creed RJRJ?

Was looking through the listings for a HU coach. Noticed you did the same thing in Cog's thread after you got some coaching from him. Perhaps your expectations are unrealistic?

Sick stats - I never knew you crushed that hard! Keep up the good work.
Also, don't be shy to step up. With your skills you could easier beat much higher stakes and one day you might regret being one of the best players around (definitely ROI wise!) and not making as much as you possibly could have done.
I have always taken too long to move up and had/have these regrets which is why I am saying it to you now!
Best of luck mate and keep up the good work!

re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com
Hi 147_star,
Thanks for the advise. I agree with you that the higher stakes are also pretty easy to beat, especially if you have a good game selection. The things is: I have a lot of costs like: taxes (29% over pokerwinnings and on average 35% over coaching income), house, car, girlfriend (wedding planned) that I don't want to get any stress at the higher stakes. There is always a chance that I run bad and right now I feel really relaxed when I am playing even if I run terrible.
After the wedding I will move up in stakes but I will still avoid you. We have played a couple of times in the past but it didn't take me a long time to figure out that I didn't have an edge at those games.
GL to you U2 and I hope we meet some day in the endstage of a big live event, because that's my goal and if I remember well you told me you had a nice score in an MTT (online) last year, so I am sure you are skilled enough to play tournaments as well.
Bye

re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com
Hey, I totally respect that and I think it's good that you have your priorities sorted. Congratulations on the engagement and wedding, I think that having a long-term girlfriend does make a difference in a poker players mindset and I can relate to trying to avoid the stress from poker.
I wasn't meant to criticise - just to say that try to get the most out of poker as possible whilst games are still around but after your reply I'm sure you are going about it the best way. I would be very interested to chat to you further about things so I'll PM you my Skype. I think I may have noticed your name in the start list for an upcoming live event so we can chat there too.
Keep up the good work and I'm sure your coaching is fantastic - I am actually very tempted even though I am always way too stubborn for coaching!
