re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com

Finished 3 sessions with Bernard last week, I must say it has helped tremendously, he explains it very well and he seems to me as a correct and honest person
I will certainly book some more session when I move up in stakes.
It is well worth the investment. Thx Bernard

this guy is very good, I just had a half hour lesson with him and learned a lot, and told me details that make a difference and that I had never thought, I strongly recommend, money well spent.

I had two sessions with Bernard so far. He was always well prepared and spotted some major leaks in my game which he was very helpful in fixing. His reasoning is very clear, logical and math based, which helped me a lot. I highly recommend his coaching.

re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com

Hi, everyone.

So I had my last of 5 hours today with Bernard and I gotta say that it was by far the best 5 hours of coaching I ever had. And I had coaches like Speedukass [at the very start of career], and mersenneary last year when I was in the fast track program. Don't get me wrong I really appreciate every single on them and how they've improved my thinking. But talking about Bernard's coaching what really stands out to me is that:

1) He's very much into details, he wouldn't miss even the smallest error, and not only he points out that you did wrong, he also asks "why would you do that", or "what was your reasoning";
2) He cares about student's results. Everytime we started a session, he asked how was my games, what was bad, what was good, did I run bad or I made bad decision, etc.
3) 150$/h is really a BARGAIN if you look what you are getting.

thats my this year's graph, its a bit crappy, coz ev only @ 3 % and i think it should be higher, because I suck @ these low 60$ limits, or I was autopiloting too much, anyways after coaching with bernard EV is @ 5% [so i mean this month it is] i'm still running like crap, but at least I am more comfident and better as a player.

Huge respect for Bernard, I hope you do well, thank you a lot.

re: Bernardc coaching for HU all formats and coach for group webinars for Jaxtrawpoker.com

I took five hours with bernardc and learnt loads. My game has definitely improved. I think bernardc finds the right level between instruction and getting you to think for yourself. My volume is a bit low at the moment, but I feel more confident, which is the main thing.

Moreover, bernardc is a great guy. He was always on time for the sessions and we frequently ran over, so great value for money.

I am a hypercoach myself who will have a thread back up again this weekend meaning Bernard is my competition in a way but I have to stick up for him here.
This is a redicilous post from someone who doesn't appear to be mentally stable. Or at least he keeps changing his mind period when it comes to his pokercareer. I have coached this guy in the past and then we agreed on another coachingdeal that he bailed out of.

Also you can not expect coaching to be succesful instantly and you can not even expect it to be succesful always. You need a certain amount of basic understanding of the game and the willingness to work hard outside of the sessions.

I have a 5% roi in hypers personally and I have had many worse stretches then this so I don't see why it would be relevant to post this graph and then blame it on your coach. You have probably had one of those good OLE tilts that you have mentioned to me before.

If you are unhappy about coaching and you can explain what you didn't like about it then it's useful to post it in this persons thread. What you're doing is walking away from your own responsibility and bashing out at someone in the most inconstructive way possible.
