I think it was named "Chili rap response". It was a dark guy on the label gasping for air like he had eaten a hot chili.

Hi. Just saw this in my Google alerts.

That video was a monetization experiment. At the time, response videos were getting a lot of views because of how the sidebar recommendations algorithm worked. You might remember "reply girls" that wore revealing outfits and commented on whatever videos were popular at the time. If some video was receiving millions of views, and your response video was placed right next to it, you could get a lot of trickle down views and make decent money.

So I quickly threw together a music response video. It wasn't great, and it didn't receive much attention. Worth a shot, but failed experiment. That was years ago. I delisted the video because it's honestly not my best work.

I don't know if you heard, but Matt Marafioti has had some sort of mental breakdown. He is having delusions about Drake (yeah, that Drake), the mafia, the government, etc. forming a conspiracy against him. Apparently he spent some time in a mental hospital recently. He has also been harrassing me, blaming me for some of this.

Although I'm a bit annoyed by the messages, I think the ethical thing to do was to take the video down. He needs help, and I'm not going to kick the guy while he's down.

I heard a bit about that, but didn't know how severe his situation was atm.

I'm an experience expert in comorbid psychiatry and 100% agree on taking it down. I had a friend who was doing really good in life, recently commit suicide because of an unexpected mental breakdown. (to complicated to put into words)
