A lot of people remember that Phil Hellmuth won his first bracelet vs Johnny Chan but what is sometimes forgotten is that on this day Johnny Chan was playing Heads Up for a third consecutive Main Event title!
I don't think anyone gives a toss about either JC or PH around here,although PH has got to be a better rep for Poker than does JC. Hell one time JC and PH did a meet and greet type of thing and a bit of speaking publically thrown in. JC came totally unprepared, thought it was enough to just bring himself. Luckily for him PH saved the day and assumed full duties and entertained the folks.It was at a venue that was not in Vegas which made it worse that JC was unprepared.
