Question TOP PAIR K kicker, facing overbet river shove??

very 1st hand, villain is a winning reg with a 14% roi over 1000 games, 900 of them are 4 mans though, this is prob why the roi is so high, but other than that i have no reads,

Whats your question? Easiest fold ever.

I would doubt a winning player at these stakes is bluffing his busted draws like this.

My betsizing is 50 on flop, 110 on turn (180 pot), and 240ish on river(400 pot). Your bet bet bet line is good though.

Yeah I'm just thinking is this ever a call mj? I think it's a easy fold but why over bet shove it, why not 3 bet something I would call there for getting more value? Just looks like he's trying to scare me off a pot?

Cbet bigger @ flop. 50% is my default most of the times,on this flop however you could make it bigger imo, just 50/60 ish. I would bet 100*160 @turn or 120@200 @ turn if you would have bet flop 60.

Kind of diffecult river spot imo with your sizing, your sizing really smells like Qx imo ,so the spot is really villain depended.
Folding can't be that bad tho.

Hmm, does anyone think checking back this river is bad? I was wondering what hands we can get 3 streets of value from.

As played I'd fold without much reads.

Re: TOP PAIR K kicker, facing overbet river shove??

Interesting hand as all the draws missed and his huge river raise makes it pretty polarized. The bad thing is that he may play like this with Tx, full house but with missed draws as well.

Imo winning villain will more often bluff here by c/push here rather than lead betting big on the river (maybe that's because I like c/push line more from the villain's point of view but still that's my opinion). Why? Because the pot on the river is pretty small and by betting he doesn't force you to fold Qx type of hands too often as it is too cheap to call.

Call me fish but I call here quite often.

I also like Nederlander sizing.

Qx should probably be enough, though there isn't alot more.
also i would use bigger sizing on all streets except for river.

In the first hand I would definitely cbet bigger with TPGK purely because he has no past info on c bets so he may think 3/4 pot is a standard cbet when really you are extracting more value with a big hand.

im folding river, it's probably Tx or a fullboat. I dont think players bluff at these stakes like that, cuz ur line looks strong. Althought, should bet bigger on all streets.

c-bet 1/2 pot is standard when u r min-open pre flop, but I dont mind bet 60 1st hand on drawy flop. I bet larger on turn (120 if u 1/2 cbet flop or 160 if u cbet 60) for value from draws and ck/c river. Here Im folding on river.
