Is there anything that can done against players timing down every hand?

There is this player that times down literally every ****ing hand when I play him at the 4man at Stars.

I don´t know what else to do but to contact Stars support because I can´t punch this mother****er through the internet but I don´t know if they´ll do anything.

Is Stars going to do anything against this idiot if I complain?

I don't think stars can do anything about it. He is probably doing that, cuz he don't want to play with u, so probably just don't sit in lobby, if u dont want to play with him. Or start playing 2man's.

def complain politely to stars, they'll probably send him a warning if he's done this multiple times.

I don't know. I think you are entitled to play this way. Sure it's not the most nobel way to play, but you are entitled to the time. If it tilts your opponent it might be a viable strategy.

he could be multitabling. in such cases i make quick actions (gives time preasure to multitablers and fit or fold game with little reads) and consider opening another table. but i agree - they are very annoying

Consulting those hands charts strength and Nash push fold spreadsheets takes time. I am sorry OP.

Re: Is there anything that can done against players timing down every hand?

Just to let everybody know, I wrote a polite email to Pokerstars.

They said they would take a look at it.

I sat the 4man like 30 min after sending the email and the guy was there. He did the same as always. Buuuuuuuttt, miraculously, the very next game we played. he was acting normal, no timing down at all.

Pretty sure Stars did something.

Good one pokerstars support.

I don't think you're necessarily entitled to it anymore.

I believe Stars enforces what they call a spirit of the game rule. Basically, if you're playing at a noticeably slower speed against a specific opponent and it is obvious to Stars that you are just delaying between actions, they will at least warn you.

I've never heard of anything other than a warning, I would imagine most people don't disobey a warning for stuff like this.

Interesting.

I remember when Full Tilt cut the time, before timing down, considerably about a year before Black Friday. I hated that because it made it more challenging for me to play an HUSNG and a couple of Multis or SNG's at the same time. I know I annoyed a few HU players doing this but I always felt it was my time so it was not a problem.

I did this on Stars too. The biggest thing that I ever saw was some annoyed trash talking and several player typing "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" in the chat box.

zzzz happens a lot if you multi table or have distractions up while playing.

The time down being reported on and warned has so far happened in situations where a player was clearly delaying against another player, but not anybody else (at least as far as I have heard).
