@l'enfant PT has the option of graphing your result with EV line in chips (instead of $results)

Anyways I am probably the wrong person to ask, as some of you know, i hate this indicator and I never look at it anyways.
@genher. I have been following this redline discussion in this thread and given it some thoughts. I cannot think of any reason why redline and actual winnings line should not converge in the end (in total chips). Of course it is not an absolute measure for quality of play because card distribution plays an important role. Still I think red line is a better measure than green line, because the amount of luck in the flips is erased completely without error IMO. I am just curious, where do you think the error comes in in this red line?

I just think the red line doesn't give you any information of any value. As you have correctly pointed out it's not an indication of the quality of your play nor a good representation of variance (as card distribution plays a much more important role in variance than coin flips IMO). Some say that it's a better representation of your true ROI than the green line, even if it is true I can't remember seeing many posts using it that way. Most people use it the same way than a bad beat story: to confort thenselves (also a detrimental aproach to the game IMO). Seeing how good or bad I am doing in coin flip doesn't help me in anyways. (On top of that it's riddled with calculation issues and possibility for misunterpretation).

That's all I will say about it. This is a discussion I am not willing to get into sorry. I regularly get flammed for my views on this so I let you make your own mind.

I always used HEM before, so a bit confused by PT4. How do I see my EV ROI? My hourly / EV hourly?

i dont know if its just me. but if your ability/stats at a certain level is very good and u play against a fish (eg. sharkscope ability of 70 against 50.), more often than not u will lose flips,70-30s and even 80-20s. So i can relate to the guy who posted not rematching a fish when hes running like god. And the nature of superturbos is most of the time getting ur chips into the middle as slight favourite.

This is just simply not true and scared thinking. I finished my session today and noticed a drooler open sitting $30 Hypers on Lock, so I snap sat him to get an extra game in. I got into a 70/30 situation preflop for stacks. I won.

Also, god-moding is the best time to rematch fish because you're confident and in a good mood, the best state of mind to play solid poker.

You have to calculate it yourself, ev winnings/games count/buy in*100.
So your ev winnings are 1k$ at 30s in 1,5k games so your ev roi will be:
1000/1500 = 0.66/30 = 0,022 * 100 = 2,2% roi.

As for hourly PT4 doesnt show it.

Just tested this theory again. And it proved right. Im a $7/$15 turbo husng reg. so i went all the way down to play $1.50 hyper husng. lost all 3 games. I have ~11%ROI on both the $7 and $15 levels.

k9<q7 on k78 flop
A9<a4 aipf
ak<a2 aipf

Been noticing this for a long time already. If u play postflop with these fish, sure u can bluff/escape from your hand. When you play these hypers and there are alot of flipping going on and you leave it to the fate of the RNG, most of the time it doesnt turn out good.

Wonder if stars have anything to do with this to balance the playing field.

Sigh, why are conspirologists (is that a word?) always addicted to high variance games like hyper sngs or plo? Why don't they play nl fr for example? Masochism?
