Feels like a 9 that doesn't really want to get shoved on but will call a shove anyway..raise seems big to be a 6, I would expect he would make it 90 or 100, or even a min raise with a 6..either way, seems like 77 is beat

do people c/c in this spot? I used to find this would be fine to c/c as people would give up a huge amount of the time and we could either improve or show down our hand.
but now i find people will barrel hard in this spot, especially on ace high flops
also similar spot in a way because people would generally cbet these boards without realizing they were wet and bad to cbet, but now i find even fish know to check back here a lot of the time, so would it be a spot you would lead into more often because of that?

1st hand is fine, yes people will barrel a lot but you have a pair and get good odds so checkcalling the flop is std, and i agree on folding this turn.
I think leading is generally good in the second hand, the flop smacks your range and he will checkback a high percentage so leading to prevent him from realizing his equity with a big portion of his range seems good. Against a good player you will have to balance your ranges though, donk sometimes with air aswell, and when you do lead your tp+ here then your checkrange becomes weak and they should be inclined to cbet more often in case you do check. So you should still check some percentage of the time with value (Esp with more nutted hands that dont mind him checking back and improving on the turn)
