If it annoys you, just don't play him. Lol at "ego wars" at $30s, it's infinitely retarded. He is one of better players at these stakes and by playing him you are losing money regardless of who has an edge.

I don't know much about his game as we played only 2 games about 4 months ago but he has 3% roi over 21k sample so there are definitely not that many players better than him at these stakes.

Sometimes it takes a few games for one to realize if there's value in playing other player or not. I would say he came to the conclusion there's more value elsewhere. Imo you're the one with an ego thing here since apparently he's not sitting or accepting rematches vs you.
I've played 8 matches vs him and his stats are solid imo (don't have any notes or remember specifics) so highly doubt your are making a +ev decision in playing him. Don't know anything about you tho, maybe you r amazing, i'm def not and will avoid playing him for sure.
