HU SNG now have a 15 second delay at the start, increased from 10 seconds, to address player complaints that they'd lose their blinds in the first few hands sometimes due to a slow connection.

Let say villain calls with any PP, A4s+, K9s+QTs+, A5o+KTo+ then he will call 21.6 % of the time ( you have 42.76% Eq) and fold 78.4% of the time. That makes it slightly -EV (-3.17chips).
This range i wayyy off for avg villain. At least at $30-$60 stakes. I feel like it should it be way tighter.

Just wondering about the other side of this question, what range do you guys feel we should call a first hand shove with? personnally im thinking A10+,66+. i dont see why i should defend those 20 chips really wide , when i have no idea what he is doing that with. im newish to these so feel free to correct me and your thoughts on it are also appreciated

You are right I screwed up it's +8.81 my bad

it wasn't about the claculation I just wanted to make the point that's it's not such a great EV gain. I guess mucking up the EV calc didn't really help my cause.

I like to use that play against agressive players that will systematically Raise your limp. It has the added benefit of making your limping range stronger. Villain usually slows down raising your limps once he has been shoved over a few time. it comes handy in the end game.

anyways I am not going to argue against Hockie when it comes to pokerstrategy

well that's the point...what do people open shove 25BB deep? if it's only 66-22 (it's true of lots of people!) you can snap call with tons of hands! (including stuffs like 76s, T7s, T8s for a big +EV)
It means that if you are going to open shove 66-22 ~25 BB deep you also need to open shove other stuffs (I would suggest to add A rags to your ~25 bb openshove range then it's very well balanced and there is not much villain can call you with that would make it -EV)

I think it is annoying as ps handles d/c but it still is fair. So the disc. player has time to reconnect without loosing his whole stack.

Re: The Superturbos (aka "sejjeturbos") Discussion Thread

nah this changed recently no?

last d/c's i blinded them down in like 2m and moved on, just last one he didnt sitout

chips where 560/440 for him today, it took me 3m to get from there to 400/600, then villain comesback openshoves 74o, i call A7o and win... even villain understands i deserved that buy-in
