And I'm "bodhisoma" on skype, I play the $5 HUSNG regular speeds on FT, am definitely interested in being part of a study group. I've got the ability to screenshare as well as record video sessions as well as review the play of any $1 or $2 players who might be struggling.
I wouldn't hold myself out as much of a good review buddy on the $5's tho because I'm not entirely sure I'm a winning player.
[ edit: oh yeah, I'm Eastern time zone (EST) but I can probably work with just about anyone, unemployment FTW...]

So I'm starting a HUSNG study group. Whee.
Anyone is welcome but since a bunch of people playing a ton of different games/formats can't help each other too effectively, people who aren't playing HUSNG can expect to get a lot less out of this, game-wise.
A core function of the group is to set up a weekly coaching tree whereby a player records one/some/all of their games and submits the vid to another player for analysis and commentary, a leakfinder vid, basically. "One" isn't the max, you can do as many sweats as you want but you'll pretty much be expected to do at least one per week.
This means screencapturing and a mic will pretty much be required.
We'll also be meeting up ~once a week to plan, discuss, basically to just keep everyone coordinated.
Not gonna be a lot of rules but the first one is directed at me before anyone else; no bitching about beats. One sentence, fine, keep it to that because we all have 'em and really, nobody is gives a crap and it tends to spread.

^^^ Different group but I can definitely vouch for Duncelanas -- he plugged some huge holes in my game and moved me from $1's to beating $5's in about a week.
Plus he never tilts. Kind of a freak that way...

Hahahah...I think that post was a bit of an overstatement but yeah, I have my tilt problems (they used to be MAJOR problems) under control pretty well now. Magic, I can't help you because you might start another thread I can get action against

I have a husng oriented club with few members, we have a study group aswell, so the games are likely to be reviewed for purposes.
Tournaments will be set at demand aswell as scheduled few for start.

Interested in joining a study group. New to HU SNG's in general. I think I want to start out at the $5 level for a little bit (hope to move up to the $20's and 50's soon enough) to get a feel for the game. Come from a 6max cash NLHE background. Deciding to HU SNG because of my current school schedule (barely any time at home, so most of my playing is done on my laptop-can't really play lots of cash tables on a laptop). Plan on 2-4 tabling to start out.
I have AIM/MSN/Skype etc...send me a PM.
