question for turbo grinders question for turbo grinders

I played for a living from 05-black friday but it was 6max MSNL cash. I have about 3 million hands under my belt and was a successful cash game player. Black friday really screwed me, but i'm looking to get back into an online site based in the US. A few questions i have about HU SNG turbos since i'm pretty burned out of cash games

1. Whats a standard swing in the turbos these days? $50-200 range.

2. Lets say i grinded $100s every day, what volume would i need to put in to achieve an average of +4bis a day? Assuming i was +ev in the games

Is planning for +4bis/day unreasonable in today's climate?

Thanks!

action is pretty meh on stars for turbos. assuming a US site would be 100xs worse but I wouldn't know.

Rec player here on an american site.

I just play $5-$10 for fun. ROI 11% (including rake)

I would have to play 52 games to be up 4 buy ins on average.

Games go by fast even with Turbos, but I'm not sure how long you would have to wait to get seated at the $100's

(SleightofJam, if he is thinking of playing on the same site, there are no hyper turbos available, so the action at turbos is pretty decent)

1. depends on winrate
2. depends on winrate

I'll be pessimistic and assume a 5% ROI. This is what you can achieve without game selection at all; with a careful game selection you can shoot for higher at the expense of getting less action (hourly).

1) I'd say you should be planned for 25-30 BI downswings.

2) 5% ROI = 20 games to win a BI, so 4 BI would be 80 games.

This is all speculation though, and I wouldn't spend too much time on predicting my winrate or anything related to it. Just give it a try, play a few hundred games and you'll see how it goes for you. GL at the tables!

This depends on roi and size of BI, I have done a few graphs for what to expect and here are the standard/turbo sized ones (about 5% rake).

If your roi is 5% on average you would need to play 100/5 = 20 games to earn 1 BI so you would need to play 80 to earn 4BI's.

I have no real idea what roi is sustainable at different buy-ins.
