He won't get away with it. Unless you consider Robert2c to have gotten away with stealing 30k from Primo. While he blew the 30k, and tens of thousands more from others, he was obviously a reckless degenerate that had no control or discipline and just kept stealing from others. Eventually he went to prison in some crazy story involving smuggling illegal pills in a hotel room with a girl. One of those situations that is only a few tall tales away from being an iconic movie like Blow (entertaining once you exaggerate the reality of the situation, but pathetic in reality).

The main hurdle in this thread is not that enough people aren't outraged or afraid to do anything, but the jurisdictions and countries where these crimes were committed. Now, I know there are a few more formal things going on behind the scenes, not being posted in this thread for good reason, but it's quite a high bar to expect this guy to be in custody already or something along those lines.

Even if the crimes listed in this thread go unpunished, a guy this out of control will just keep getting worse until he gets caught doing something, and that something can have dire consequences in countries like the one he lives in. It might be easier to perpetrate a basic online crime out there, but if anyone thinks this kid is some mastermind and not just some inexperienced, out of control piece of emotional disaster, I would say that is quite a bit of wishful thinking. So my guess is that he will just end up stealing or screwing over the wrong person, likely offline, and we may never hear about the consequences of it, but I just don't see any other way this kid is going to go given how many extremely silly errors he's made while trying some ridiculous online scams, the biggest of which he just luckboxed that someone confused him for another person.

So to sum it up:

- This is not a smart person.

- When strangers send each other thousands of dollars in different countries, it's not easy to claw back that money legally in a very fast way, it takes resources, logs, lawyers and obviously money.

- While legal action isn't out of the question, it takes time and money to organize and isn't going to be published in this thread until after it takes place.

The poker community has got to be among the easiest communities ever to scam. Steal $6k+? np, the only problems you'll face is some angry threads on 2+2 and some calls to your mom. Oh i bet Maxi and Robert are shaking in fear, ready to pay up any second now.

edit: I just don't understand, how is robert2c getting convicted on some drug charge in any way related to the primo scam? If I scam some dude for 30k then get caught smuggling heroin 1 month later, does that mean I "didn't get away with the scam"? Of course I did? :S

lol yeah apparently chicagory is trying to tell us that "if you steal from a pokercommunity" (and thus youre an evil person) karma will bite you and you'll get caught one day.

it will have consequences for the scammer, yeah, but it has nothing to do with the victim. primo never got his money back either.
