this doesnt happen every time but happens a lot. I click "ready to play" and if im in the sb button i see that it gets folded automatically first hand, and off to the next one. no cards dealt to me, but on the screen i see that ive autofolded. i check the hh and can't see any cards were dealt to me. but the thing is i started the next hand with $470! wtf? in my holdem manager I check out what is going on..i looked at the first hand of the game, and first hand i started with less than $500! (the hand or whatever it was that autofolded which caused me to start with a chip disadvantage did not show up in HEM) this is not fair how i start hand #1 with a chip disadvantage. i emailed stars and they havent replied yet. is this normal? i thought everyone starts with $500 in hand #1, no?

Email stars, i got a similar problem, my ps client would freeze and i would sitout but not dc and they told me it was a problem on my end and not theirs so i cant get a refund

they seem to be saying that alot lately, even if it's not true.

Perhaps slightly related to this- in 4mans when I get to ft i often see myself displayed as dc. So I had to manually close the table and reopen.

This has happened a lot to people I was playing as well so it must be actually a bug.

so they refunded me for the tournament. lol I only sent them 2 examples, but I've played about 150 of them and maybe half of those had these problems. do you think they'll refund me 75 more if I emailed them again?

Doubtful. Surprised you got anything. This happened to me a lot, the "deal me in" button should fix this problem anyway.

this problem came up despite the fact i clicked the "deal me in" button every time as soon as i could. you really think i just sat out stupidly thinking "uuuh why it folds me when i sit out"? if it was simply me sitting out then the hh should have shown what cards were dealt to me, but none were dealt. i started hand #1 with less than 25bb. good thing pokerstars isn't as ignorant as you are. i compiled a list of all the ones with problems and they refunded me for every one of them. good job pokerstars, this is why you are the #1 poker site in the world.

This is happening to me too, for 4 mans on my macbook. Only way I can get it to work is quit and restart the client. Pokerstars said the problem was on my end as well

I used to have this problem. I believe the issue here is latency. It simply takes too long for the connection and hence doesnt update quick enough. Not to be confused with low download speed obv.
Next time this happens, please notice latency via a ping software (like pingplotter for example) and see if there is a co-relation.

afaik if you always lose your first blind your hourly is surprisingly very harmed. ( cant recall if it was -2% or -4% roi), but yeah, its a lot, so def try to fix that if u want to beat hypers!

Other way to look at it: an average hyper has 13 hands. So if you lose 1 blind extra every 13 hands thats around -8bb/100, you lose sometimes the SB and others the BB so imagine its something like -6bb/100 instead tho

I think the problem could have been after 120 games or so that pokertracker would starting running so god damn slow and it would start to lag my whole computer and pokerstars would freeze. I got an ssd drive now for pt4 and it hasnt happened since, although i only installed it a couple days ago

Another problem is once in a while my tables wont pop up and i get a message saying low system resources and i have to restart pokerstars and get back with no chips left or only a very short stack, thats extremely tilting too. I thought it was from using SS hud but it does it without running that program sometimes too..
