Re: HUSNG Official fitness, diet and healthy being thread

Dieting so hard that you lose lots of weight at the expense of noticeable amounts of skeletal muscle is incredibly stupid. If you knew anything about physiology you wouldn't question that.

That results in reduced metabolic rate among other things.

Re: HUSNG Official fitness, diet and healthy being thread

Hey guys, just noticed this thread, here is my current meal plan. Been doing this for a week, amazing results so far.

First, let me give you the basic menu:

Breakfast - 6 egg whites ; 1 serving of oatmeal

Mid-morning - 6 oz protein ; 1 serving starch ; 1 serving veg

Lunch - 6 oz protein ; 1 serving starch ; 1 serving veg

Mid-afternoon - 6 oz protein ; 1 serving starch ; 1 serving veg

Dinner - 6 oz protein ; 1 serving starch ; 1 serving veg

Last meal - 4 oz protein ; 1 serving veg

Now let me give a specific day:

Breakfast - 6 egg whites ; 1 serving of oatmeal

Mid-morning - protein shake

Lunch - Chicken fajita meat ; 3 corn tortillas ; small can of carrots

Mid-afternoon - fish ; 3 rice cakes ; 1 veg

Dinner - tuna sandwich (protein - tuna, starch - bread, veg - pickles and celery)

Last meal - usually miss this one, or if I'm still hungry I'll have a shake

Proteins - talapia, chicken, beef, pork chops

Starches - sweet potatoes, bread, corn, corn tortillas, rice cakes

Veg - any veg, as much as you want

*limit sugars to 40grams of sugar a day.

The drop in metabolic rate is nothing compared to the health risks associated with skeletal muscle atrophy.

My soreness today is the highest ive ever had, every muscle hurts, and i am ALIVE!
Guys, if you are not going to the gym yet, do it asap.
Everything will be better after

Its smart and does things like make use of what your putting in, maybe the body thinks your going on a long trip and may not have access to food at some points lasting days, maybe weeks. This was probably a common problem not too long ago.

The best way to lose weight, is to not eat anything at all and let the body use up its reserve (fat), drinking only water/fruit juice/smoothies.

Otherwise known as fasting.

I assure you the best way to lose weight, is simply so stop eating, try being hungry for a change, you wont die I promise =]

Ofcourse there is a limit to the period one may be able to fast for, people with less fat will not last as long as someone with more reserve (fat), so one must pay attention to their body, how they are feeling.

When you lose weight, the best way to not gain weight is to only eat when your hungry, people seem to eat according to routines rather than listening to their body to see when they actually need food (hungry).
This, you might have a ton of health and probabily mental problems too, but at least you'll get that skinny-fat look really fast

Re: HUSNG Official fitness, diet and healthy being thread

i´m doing the 4hbody "diet"(pretty much low carb with 1 cheat day per week) and i really enjoy it.
i actually eat better than before. Instead of thinking "meh hungry again? great will it be meat/fish with rice or with noodles?" and now i can actually mix up a ton of veggies to get something that i actually enjoy eating. I´m losing about a pound every week doing one different bodyweight exercise from monday to friday and combined with the big protein intake i´m pretty sure i´m gaining muscle while im losing weight.
And since i was already restricting my sugar intake to the weekend the only difference is that i dont eat rice/noodles as much. Best thing is i started really enjoying the cheat day. Normally i didnt really enjoy all that sweet stuff because in the back of my mind i knew how unhealthy it is and i shouldnt be eating it but now i can plan the perfect most deliciously unhealthy day and really apprieciate the taste of icecream and lasagna etc.

My favorite lowcarbmeals:
omelette with beans and sausage cut into little pieces
spinach with cream, brocolli, calliflower, carrots and premarinated chickenfilet

most of it is even pretty easy to make, spinach and the veggies are sold frozen so i just have to heat them up in the microwave and put the meat into my pan.

You heat your veggies in the microwave? I would always cook or fry them for real to avoid serious health risks....

Re: HUSNG Official fitness, diet and healthy being thread

i recently learned to swim (yeah i know, i suck for doing it at 30)...
anyways, after 2 hours of swimming (and i am stroking hard to keep myself above water lol), i have some serious muscle soreness (especially in the back, like first time in my life when i do in the back although i have some serious back gym training, never had soreness there).
anyways, if you guys don't go to gym, my advice is to start swimming, pretty good full body workout
