i suppose if you disconnect and someone sends you money back... and then that same person disconnects at a later date... it would be kinda crappy for you not return the favour... but other than that... you shouldn't complain for getting blinded down (even if the person joins your game knowing that you've disconnected).

these days, it's easy to get a second connection in case yours goes down. it's easy to have a battery powered laptop with one of those internet stick things in case you lose your power. there's really no excuse these days. granted, i still only have one connection (but it's really solid)... but i'm not going to complain if i get disconnected and lose a buy in.

Whatever. I don't care about the money (even if I had lost the game).
My problem is just with him wanting people doing things for him that he doesn't do for others.

I do ship back all the time, just because one time 2 years ago there was a misunderstanding once (while i still promise you, i did intent to ship back) does this mean that i now should not hope that people ship back to me?

I think the last time i shipped back to someone was in february to "Hu_mafia" who disconnected for like 300$ and i had never spoken to him, dont have him on skype and snap sent back to him just because i know hes a regular.

Basically, on every occassion ive shipped back, except on yours (i didnt win the game) and it was just a doubtable situation that turned into a big misunderstanding imo

my 2 cents, let it rest, dont hold a grudge over something that was a misunderstanding on a website that doesnt even exist anymore.

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***

I know some people who have had similar situations with jts (from back on fulltilt) and from what I hear he's was totally respectful and there hasnt been problems with shipping back. fwiw.

sometimes misunderstandings happen. no point in bringing up old **** from years ago where it seems to be an unclear situation. rom a 3rd party perspective he seems to be a good guy.

Who btw wont ship back to anyone (not sure about his friends i guess) even if they ask him on skype. I mean, i hope after you shipped back if one day he blinds you down youll get your money, but im sure if he was the first to blind you down you wont get anything back.

As mentioned, i dont consider this unethical either even though its not the type of attitude i like to have. Its also true that stars current policy of refunding disconnects even when they know its not their fault encourages a lot of people to keep the money because you will likely get a refund if you email pokerstars

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***

My general policy is, i ship back everyone who disconnects who i know or am aware that he is a 2p2er a husng.com member (that is friendly to me / plays similair stakes to the one he discos in) or a reg at the 100$+ Hypers

Because i ASSUME they will ship back to me as well.

if in a future occurence that doesnt turn out to be the case then lesson learned and moving on i guess.

Id just prefer to believe that poker can be either lonely or enjoyable and with many others studying together, so i would rather be friendly with many people, then have grudges over 100$ or so that I didnt "rightfully win" from them.

I am positive that i am down lifetime in the whole reshipping when discoed thingy.

However i must admit, if its a complete random or fish, i snap blind down and feel great about it.

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***

My HH's from after may 27th aren't in my HH folder and I see they don't get saved when I play games now. Can't find them anywhere else.

I checked if stars was still saving them and it says it does, but in fact it doesn't.

Anyone know what it is? Thanks

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***

You should never ship back to people you blind down. You should also never expect a refund when someone blinds you down. Pokerstars refunds basically every reg the buy in when they disconnect. I was refunded 15 buy ins in the last month alone from disconnects. Just send pokerstars an email instead of asking the reg to refund the buy in.
