Lol @ stars take the ***** money and make it sound i am responsible for your stupid mistakes. i love it how they make it sound im the badguy when i didnt do anything wrong. Also im sure they wouldnt refund me when i ended up loosing against these players.

If they're taking away money for games you won against these people, they damned well better be refunding your losses.

do that and they probably will give you some kind of severence, or at least a severe apology ... seriously... do it!

Agree. It's absolutely ridiculous that they're making you out to be the bad guy here, by failing to report an abnormality that you wouldn't have had any way to pick up on anyway.
People open-shove all sorts of **** all the time, and how are you supposed to know that they don't have money in their account. Frankly, stars should be eating whatever losses came from this, IMO. Their ****up, not the players. And it's not like they're not making money hand over fist anyway. :/

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***
I'm happy to put my name to a group email demanding better treatment for bas and M@d (and anyone else affected).
Stars shouldn't take the money from dibasio and not refund M@d.
High limit heads up sng regs are amongst the beiggest rake contributors to stars and should not be treated the way these two guys are being treated.

I thought bas was the guy who actually did report it. Someone did.
If it was him, I think they oughta be shipping him about 15k, not taking it away.

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***
wow. if they take money from the winners, they better refund the losers. This is bull, i lost 3 buyins during that thing. I risked my money and lost, but even if i would have won they take it back anyways? lose/lose situation because of their ****ing glitch.
gimme back my losses or smfd stars
actually, id rather see Dibasio and Iftarii (im assuming he had his winnings ceized as well) get their winnings back since it was way bigger than my losses and then tip me my losses back =)
sejje: i was watching Iftarii play 2K HU vs those guys, and by reading chat between him and dibasio, they both reported it. They tried a moderator at first, which is useless coz unless they are bots, they are simply down syndrome kicked in the face babies who cant do anything else than chat issues. And then they emailed support. I totally agree that they should get rewarded instead of punished because they helped them resolve the problem.

If this is right and Iftarii and dibasio reported the bug and they are getting punished, I am just totally and utterley lost for words.
It's early days, I fully expect Stars to make this thing right.

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***
From NVG:
Dear xxxxx,
PokerStars has become aware of a situation which allowed players with insufficient balance to rematch in Heads Up Sit’n’Go tournaments. Following a thorough review which is now complete, it has come to our attention that you were able to rematch in tournament ID 184677127 without paying the buy-in or rake for a total of $xxx. We have corrected this by debiting $xxx from your PokerStars account balance. If your current balance is less than zero, please make a deposit from the PokerStars Cashier to repay owing funds. Transfers you received from other players will be applied towards your negative balance. Your understanding in this matter is appreciated. Kind regards, PokerStars Security

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***
^lol, they beleive people are going to deposit money on the site to pay it back?
can they legally transfer money from they players bank accounts with their consent btw? I am no legal expert. I am guessing not, but not sure on the matter

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***
I'm going back and forth on this. On one hand, the abusers didn't put up any buy-ins and so there was never any real money to win, and if everybody who lost is getting refunded (which they will be, and lol at skates offering 1:1), there's nothing unfair about it, just that it sucks to wake up and think "wtf why am I 10k poorer".
That said, the situation I think this is most similar to is chargebacks. You don't know when you're playing someone who charged back the funds, and unless it can be shown that it's likely you're complicit in laundering it, you did nothing wrong. Sites don't come after winners and say "I'm sorry, this money never existed, I'm going to have to take back your winnings" - they accept it as a cost of doing business. It should be the same here, imo.
btw, I'd be interested to know how Stars is calculating this. It SHOULD be that if you win the first sng, win the faux rematch, lose the second faux rematch, you don't get any money taken away, as you legitimately won the first SNG when there was real money at play.

Re: ***HU SNG REGS THREAD***
Surreal situation. Obviously people losing to faux rematchers should be refunded, but in my opinion people who beat faux rematchers should also be compensated in some way, and get to keep a reasonable percentage of their winnings (10,20%?). PS should organize a massive freeroll for the "victims", with healthy added value, as well, just for the lack of respect they have shown legit HUSNG regs.
