Villian Unknown First hand, Wanted to keep an 8 or weak A so I bet small on the turn, the river he snap shoved and I called even though I put him on 8. Bad call?
Bet turn bigger--if you make a good c/r then you can just jam it in for value.
As played river sucks so bad. you can consider b/f something tiny like 100 or even 80 to try to get value our of pocket pairs and maybe 3x but it's quite thin--honestly you can probably c/f river since villain won't bluff at your much there. But I dunno your range looks so weird when you make the tiny c/r and tiny turn bet--best just to avoid this by playing better on earlier streets.
Grunch, didn't look at spoiler (I'd suggest not putting them in).
I don't mind the flop minraise, looks fishy and you're not fearing much.
The turn, I'd suggest leading bigger, at least half pot. I know you want to keep in weaker hands but you're aiming to get it in, not get in just what villain is willing to volunteer. With a weaker hand, and with at least some kind of read, I can see turning a weaker hand into a bluff catcher but turning top-and-bottom pair into a bluffcatcher sounds like lost value to me since the number of weaker hands that are going to call are much bigger.
I'm also leading the river for the same reason.
As played, I don't think I'm ever folding this river. You're getting just under 3:1 on a call, I don't think it's even close. Even if his range consists of nothing but (a) hands that beat you and (b) air, is it air 25% of the time? I think so, esp. given your river check.
