actually Radeh this might present a bit of a problem then, getting a residency permit / long-stay visa woulda made me wait for months after my gf already headed out and could only be done from Boston, so I am here on a travelers visa and just visit another country once every 90 days to renew it for 90 days, so since im NOT residing here currently does that change everything?

Shouldn't really make much of a difference to be honest. It's still a matter of theft/collusion, and a US citizen can sue a EU citizen no problem.

The main thing is that it's a EU country, and there's probably precedence for case of US citizens against citizen of that country. Now if he were to move Kazakhstan or Iran, things might be a lot more difficult...but if he does that, you can just laugh, because you pretty much made his life miserable by forcing him to move to a "not so nice" country in terms of standard of living.

I mean of couse that's what the first reaction of a reader would be -punch him in the face, hard- and i'm sure deep down inside that was primo's first reaction. But not everyone is capable of physical attacks and i doubt many of who said so would actually do it facing a situation like this.

Re: How I lost My Life Roll to Robert Andersson -- (SUPER LC)

Primo, feel bad for you. There's nothing worse than someone betraying and stealing your money you worked hard for bc hes a degen. I can remember a situation where I lost a very small sum of money with money transfers, loans, etc. and I was sick about it. I think it's very impressive you've managed to still play good poker during/since this whole ordeal and to not feel sick/sorry for yourself. Gl to you I hope you get some resolution.

One other thing. I'm sure you've set up guidelines (never loan again or w/e). But something I've done is to eliminate all negative ppl, elements from my life, obv u won't deal with this person again, but it helped me after I was sick over experience.

WOW

What a story. Really amazed.

How could you NOT attack this guy when you were in Sweden?

Cwar doesn't the perm-ban-button happen to be really close to the 2-day-ban-button? If that is the case I'm sure most people in this forum understand that mistakes can happen.

qfmft.

pretty much would tear his ass up at some point. The best part about it is that even if he was your size and he ended up besting you, there is no chacne he would beat your ass to anywhere near the level you (I) would be aiming for.

Re: How I lost My Life Roll to Robert Andersson -- (SUPER LC)

Man that's quite a story Prim. I got majorly tilted by his attitude and behavior in the last chat logs.

- "I won't send before EPT is fixed"
- "you don't trust me so why should I trust you"
- "I lose like 10k if I lose the EPT"

ARGH!

The whole story just sounds so unreal. It is hard to imagine how you could possible let him keep doing what he was doing and not stopping earlier.

But it is easy to say as an observer. Things like seeing him winning a lot of tournaments, seeing copy of bank transfer, going to the bank with him a few times and even him coming to France in the first place I can see how it can create a crying hope that he can actually pay you back.

But what is going through such a guys mind? I mean why did he come to France? Was he going because he wanted to scam some more, or did go with good intentions and then just exploited the scam opportunities he got?

I'm amazed by how a true degen douchebag can be this deceptive and cruel against another person. Especially that he did it against a person whom he meets IRL and spends several evenings with together. That he can be so cold to not have the slightest concern about the huge amount he has robbed from a guy that trusted him and even use that against him as a threat to gain. That's just so harsh it's hard to comprehend and makes me so furious inside just reading about it.

SICK story. I can't get over it! I am extremely sorry that this happened to you. I will definitely think twice before I stake another poker player. It doesn't seem like you will get any results with Robert. I think your best bet would be to try and go through his father. You may want to advise his father that you are talking to lawyers and that you will take his son to court and hopefully he will try and arrange a plan to reimburse the fund that his son scammed. I really hope you get your money back so you can finally put this behind you.

P.S. Anyone who posted that Primo deserved to be scammed is a f*cking douche bag (Especially the guy who posted the Amarillo Slim quote). He is posting on this forum to ask for advice and to share his story with others not to ask people how they would have dealt with the past but rather how he should deal with the present/future to try to get his money back.

QFTMFT!!

I think Prim knows he's been too good natured and friendly, but in the end, everyone can get scammed. It's something that can really happen to everyone, no matter what precautions you take. I got my debit card copied in Spain, and some ******* emptied my WHOLE account 6 weeks ago, including my max overdraft.

I lost pretty much everything I owned, and there's absolutely nothing I could have done to prevent it. Getting the money back from the bank of course, but it hasn't happened yet (thank God for my online Poker account, at least I got some cash), and it feels terrible to check your bank account and realize you're thousands in the red.

Go to Russia for business, and you're almost guaranteed to experience some sort of scam. I was in Sochi earlier this year, and the AIRPORT POLICE made up some stupid reason for me to pay a fine, I didn't care 'cause I was there for business, so I just paid. But while I was filling out forms at the police station, I left my credit card on the table, and the idiot of a police officer started noting down my credit card details, and turned it around to get the security code on the back. I stopped him of course and instantly blocked the card even before stepping on the plane, but a lot of people would just let it happen because it's a police officer. Could just as well have been a "friend" like in Prim's case...

Primo, I have no idea how you managed not to assault him. I know the chances of getting your cash back seem slim, but best of luck.

Amazing story. Two things:
- Both of you in the hotel room when your Stars account was drained, being ip checked to the laptop and him denying it? loooooooooooool
- Him saying if he's banned from EPT it'll end his life or something. Amazing he can say that to you after what he's put you through
