im still kinda new to Husng (played around 650 games) and i sometimes dont know what i am doing wrong. Im playing the 3.50s (took a shot at 7s but ran horrible under ev). My ev roi is about 3.7% and im 100% sure im intelligent enough to atleast double this in the loooong run. I think i have a quite ok understanding of preflop ranges, cbetting, and adapting to opponents most of the time.

What i would love to know is, what my biggest mistakes in these games are. i sometimes feel i leave a lot of value on the table + sometimes letting me run over when Villains just seem to be never folding (which happens alot at 3.50s!!) but also betting/raising every hand.

i would highly appreciate any feedback on my game and i can also upload some more stuff in this thread if you need some more footage to get a better idea of my game.

Dont remember when last time I saw two such tight hu players - first blind level, fold, fold, fold... I call most of 2x raises at the beginning just to get idea about my opponent. I also raise 2x with almost anything, and think that 3x Ax off or Q9off is not the best idea. I prefer to 3x with 78s but anyway do it rarely. Cannot say too much, cause there were almost no postflop play Too tight when defending blinds imo.

this is one example of a match against the never folding lagtard Villain we face quite often at 3.50s...

how is my general strategy against him?

thank you so far! i´ve seen few different opinions about openraising at different blind stages and also the allways minraising strategy and i think its fine to mix it up isnt it? usually when i get 3bet more often or called too much, i either openraise smaller/less or both. i dont really get the point, why it should be bad to 3x at the beginning with those hands when we a) have position and b) are likely playing better postflop then the average 3.50 Villain. Tell me if im wrong.

First of all - limp and 2x way more. Youre 3xing with some strange hands. More than 2x only for premium hands like JJ on the movie. I rather call 3 bet with QTs than K5s. You should try to build pot postflop against such player, so your general strategy was just bad in my opinion.

Play back at him. The first half or 2/3 of the video he donks full pot like every time and you always fold. Sure you had no (good) hands, but neither has he (nearly as often as he shows aggression). As mentioned: min-raise + limp preflop and tighten up. If you hit a hand you get paid off. Just c/c or flat in that case, he will do the betting for you.

Btw: I love villains bluff donk + bluff call with Q6 vs. your JJ on the 4K3T5 board.

I'm not saying 'always minraise' - mix it up, but AXoff is hard to play even in position while misses on a flop, and it misses pretty often. I almost do not 3x, if I do - only with hands that hits very well. Usually I 2x/2,5x preflop. Hard to say who is better postflop- almost no postflop play at this movie. And I'm not really happy to play postflop some AX hands, even in position - if opponent tends to fold on cbets - ok... If you have no reads I think it is better not to build big pots with such hands preflop. K9 is also not a 3x hand for me.

I also snap call 2x with hands like 97 which you fold what is really bad imo
