Maniacal Europeans (Hyper-Turbos)

Literally the last 6 games I've played in, every time I've minraised my button or limped in it's been met by a 25bb all in 3 bet. Pretty frustrating to play against to say the least.

I've tried contracting my opening range, but without any premium hands I'm either getting blinded down or being forced to stack off light. By how much should I be expanding my raise/call range?

Up to now I've been raise/folding hands like KTo, J9s. Should I be calling these off? Open jamming them? Either way I feel like I'm losing a lot of value.

Honestly seems like the best option is just to find a time to play with as few Lithuanian/Ukrainian maniacs as possible. Does anyone have a validated strategy for playing this type of opponent? Because stars seems to be flooded with them at present.

I can't say for certain that they do. But for arguments sake yes.

Let's say they're 3betting something like 90% at 25bbs

also test how they deal with limps. a ton of hands that rather fold to a jam are fine for limp/call a 3x / play a flop in position. see mersenneary rofl vid

On the button my standard raise is 2x....i never defer from this unless i am short enough to shove.

Should i add more 2.5/3x raises, or is min raising fine?

Thanks Jak

Limp a couple of hands like 45o K4o etc at 10/20 15/30 lvl to see how they react to limps. Take note of this and you can use this info when stacks get shallower.

Re: **** Beginner's and Low Content Questions Thread****

I have a couple months off of work for vacation and I use the time to play full time poker. The iPoker network seems incredibly dry for HUSNGs. I either get sit by a reg, or sit waiting in the lobby for well over an hour before a game joins. Besides Stars and Full Tilt, are there any other sites that have somewhat decent fish playing these games?

Re: **** Beginner's and Low Content Questions Thread****

A question about the ev-line.

for example-> I have KK, opponent have J9, blinds are 50,
my stack 1600, his stack 1400. both go pf all in. Board JJxxx.
after this i got 200 and he 1800. i go all in with ATC, and lose.

Why does the ev-line go down with the same fall as my winning line?

I hope everyone can understand my bad english

It shouldnt be going down, after you lose with KK it goes up 1176 but your winning line goes down 1400, after you go all in with atc and he calls with atc your ev line is going nowhere but winnings - 200 so after this situation you will be 2776 chips under ev.
