Hi everybody

Villain opens 66% (10/15), called 50% 3bet (1/2) & 4betshove (1/2), calls 75% to cbet in non3b pot but folded twice when I cbet the turn
Std chk/fold otf? Flop smashes his callling range so anything else we can do?
I'm a little confused cause I know i got a gutshot + 2 overs + backdoor fd but he got the perfect stack to shove over my cbet here and I would need 52% equity to call
If we cbet and he calls we barrel only spades, A, K, Q?

Sorry I miscalculated the pot odds :
If V. shoves over my cbet I'll need to call 790 to win (360+180+180+790+790)
Then I need 34% equity.
Then bet/fold is impossible.

Then do you bet or not, safe in the knowledge that the board is ugly?

You can't ever need more than 50% equity. ^^

I'd bet/call it off. If you have reads that he may bluff with A5dd when you check you could crai as well I suppose.

i like check-call flop

problem with bet calling it off is that a lot of hands that shove like kj, qj have blockers to your perceived outs so your equity isn't quite as good w overs and a gutter as you might think

What the hell is your plan if you c/c?

Also he may have blockers, but we may just as well have best hand vs KQ/Q9/K9/AQ or any clubs.

At this SPR, bet/call > x/jam >>>>> x/call

Yes. Idon't like to chk/call given the SPR. What are we gonna do ott if the card isn't a A/K/Q? Chk/fold? Then I prefer bet/call otf and see 2 more cards for sure.
What's our plan if the turn is a spade? Chk/shove? Absolutely no FE, if V bets the turn, he'll call his entire range. Leadshove turn? Why?

Again I totaly missread the equity I needed if V. shoves over my cbet but given the fact that I don't give him any three of a kind (I think he woud have 4b pre) I'm pretty sure now that bet/call is he best play. (And Spamz said it, so)

Mela, what's the interest in chk/shoving according to you? (That's the way I played the hand and I was pretty sure I missplayed.)
Thanks for advices and sorry for my english.

Sort of similar hand. Didn't want to create new thread. Villain straightforward, not much reads. Still bet/calling with 3 spades?
