Re: $7 - Low double gutter vs aggro

yeah I think donking is a decent option. I don't mind c/r/get it in either vs a preflop capped range, tho I haven't played turbos in a while

Re: $7 - Low double gutter vs aggro

Can someone explain to me why 3-betting pre would be a good idea here?

c/r and barrelling almost all turns and rivers is far superior IMO, all the hands we fold when we donk are gonna fold to our C/R, but we get the chips from his cbet aswell. If we do get called we have a nice amount in the pot and I think we will take it away or make the best hand a huge % of the time on future streets, if we donk and he calls it's basically the same situation as c/r except there is less in the pot, which obviously is bad since I think we have a great hand in this spot

Re: $7 - Low double gutter vs aggro

Been thinking more about 3betting here. I like the idea in a vacuum, as long as we don't keep a static 3bet range vs someone who doesn't like to flat our raises.

So after we've 3bet here and villain folded, we should be adjusting our range, excluding QJ type hands since we don't want to gii versus a wide range, but we can include stuff like mid PP, KT and A9 and 3bet to induce. Maybe wider?

Re: $7 - Low double gutter vs aggro

I like how you give all sort of stats, like his bb defending range, but mention nothing about his cbet %,turn cbet%.
So assuming he cbets a high % i'd c/r,fold to a shove since we won't have equity, and i really doubt he will shove 900 over a c/r on this board with A6.
