Re: $60 HT : QJo vs aggro villain.

Probably plus ev to shove any two cards preflop I would've thought. Seems like an ok board to checkraise to me though it is reasonably wet there are turns and rivers we can continue on imo...when he shoves are you guys weighting it towards draws and a small amount of Ax?

If he folds a lot(like 75%) to 3bets i might 3bet just to balance for all the crap i´m gonna 3bet him with.
interesting but i think if he folds 75% to 3bet than QJo is not a 3bet, bc. he folds out so many hands that we dominates so we tightening his range and his calling range will be stronger than ours. On the other hand if he rarely folds to 3bets than QJo is a def 3bet bc hi is calling stuff that we dominates.Dont like the shove pre.
OP: dont like your c/r on this board i think calling is much better.you cant rep much.

25% of 86% opening range is every pair, every broadway + some
and i cant think of many flops where we hit a Q or J and still end up being behind that range.
(obv i´m not saying we should do it if villain is either shoving or folding, i´m looking for passive villains who will call most of their range.

Re: $60 HT : QJo vs aggro villain.

PPs are 4bet shoving so that 25%range is very few hands really what flats. im just saying why do you want to fold out hands like Q8, J7 and these stuff what you clearly dominates and can play superior against?

i´m looking for people who wont 4betshove automatically every PP and Ax,
is what i was trying to say.And if i keep pounding on villain i dont expect him to stay with his 25% range and flat a ton of "if i hit the flop i can beat AK!!!" hands like Q8 and J7.

I´m not auto3betting everybody who folds 75% to 3bets with QJo .
I polarize my 3betrange unless i feel like he might start adjusting or he´s never 4betting.

shove pre unless he's a mega drooler postflop who has huge sizings or huge leaks or something at which point we can 3b if he doesn't 4b much or flat.

Re: $60 HT : QJo vs aggro villain.

Surprised you guys don't think it's a good board to checkraise we have 2 overs to mid pair and a backdoor flush draw. True we don't rep much on an A high board but maybe were giving villian too much credit to know this? If he flats our check raise I would've thought villian is pretty weak on this board as a lot of players would shove their draws plus Ax imo...also I only meant its plus ev to shove any two against a 85% open but obv more optimal ways to play the hand..
