$60 HT : QJo vs aggro villain.

He´s opening 86% and CB 100%.
1. Can we 3B JTs, QJo non all in vs this villain?
2. How is the cr on this board vs his superwide range?

I think vs a super loose villain a 3bet to ~90 is ok here, it looks super strong and the pot won't get too inflated if you're flatted. You may even be able to jam it profitably, but I prefer nai as it's playable post flop.
I like the cr but a little bigger imo, 110-ish? Of course, I play at stakes about 15 times lower...

Against an 86% opener and 100% cbetter I'd flat here to preserve equity. As Benjamin alluded to here we don't want to get AI when the hand plays so well post flop. The flop pretty much sux here so I would just check fold and wait for a better spot.

Im either 3b to 95 or shipping pre, flatting worst option imo

Cool. Why is that? (I'm rusty as after getting back into poker again after a long hiatus)

I'm interested too, I think flatting is ok as QJ is playable and villain's range is weak. I know I said we can 3bet before but I think 3betting high/low type hand would be better. thoughts?

    Im 3betting to ~95 pre.
If you flat i wouldnt check raise this board because there are so few Ax in your range, vs this open % there sould be 0 Ax.

How much do you think a reg/fish plays back at that board? How big of a difference would it make f it where dryer, A83 rainbow?

Just call imo you're hand is way ahead of his range and he is aggressive so if you flop well you can just let him hang himself. I'd much rather 3b a hand like Q4o in this spot fwiw.

Against a high % button opener I think 3betting is fine as others have mentioned. As played, I think flatting the flop is going to be better than c/raising given that you don't rep Ax at all especially if you have some history with villain. Even if he barrels a lot of turn cards, don't think you could ever fold here because he's cbetting close to 100% of his range for sure.

I don't think 3betting will be the best play unless villain is flatting 3bets wide and/or spewing in 3bet pots. Flatting pre lets us go up against an 86% range, 3betting tightens that considerably.

If villian call wide 3b it's fine a 3b to 90 to keep his j8 j9 .. hands in his flatting range.
    but i like flatting.
I'd c/f the flop myb you can try bluff or peel more dry flops the 6 7dd connect some % to his range and you don't rep a lot Ax after flat pre.

much more interesting than his opening range is how he reacts to c/raises and to 3bets.
If he wont fold i´d rather flat and c/r flop for value since hitting TP with QJ is the nuts compared to his range.
If he folds a lot(like 75%) to 3bets i might 3bet just to balance for all the crap i´m gonna 3bet him with.

Re: $60 HT : QJo vs aggro villain.

Im probably just flatting here. If we bink on the turn we will most likely get his stack. If he has an ace he will only hit on the flop 1 in 6 times. If we flat and and hit on the turn he will rep the Ace and tripple barrel and likely get his stack in. If we 3b here we never have an ace ( well he highly doubts we do as we would of 3b it pre or shoved it ) He is probably shoving any draw or 7x here.
