I'm not really a big fan of shoving here to be honest.

I'd probably just flat and reevaluate on turn

I don't think stacks are deep enough to justify raising this pre. It's going to be difficult to play post-flop OOP against an aggressive opponent - I'd much rather check this behind and raise high card hands like K9, QT, etc

Ignore what the first two said.

I don't mind the check on the flop given read. Only question now is if it's better to shove or c/r to 250 (and get it in)

Even if you are up against 2 pair here, say 8-10cc, you are at worst coin-flipping.

Objective is to get it in on flop.

Re: $6 turbo, flop bottom pair, gutshot and flushdraw

u got 60% chance to win against AA , 55% against J6 , 50% against 10 8 , the shove gives u some fold equity too.

not a fan of raising to 250 or so , as if turn is a blank your odds of wining go down (by half), and if a turn does make your flush/straight villain may catch on to your flush and just fold.

$6 tourny, without goods reads I just assume villian isnt folding top pair on any board.

Has villian been barreling a lot? Flatting puts in in a hard spot on turn if we miss and he bets big.
If he has barrelling tendancies I probably ship flop, easiest way to play it and we cannot be in bad shape vs any hand.

If hes passive enough with air on turn, I may prefer to flat and reevaluate turn.

Looks fine unless you know he goes crazy on the turn or spazzes over checkraises.

thats not the reason why we dont want to shove at all

in general our range is really weighted to some sort of draw right now which is obv not what we want, just raise so we can represent a more decent range and call a shove, nh.

Re: $6 turbo, flop bottom pair, gutshot and flushdraw

^ raising and GII on flop/turn is OK but if I calculated correctly we have 17 outs vs stuff like AT; if we get him to call vs our draw w more one pair hands that's more money 4 us coz we're favorites here
