(First just want to say this is obviously not every opponent. If he we have decent fold equity on the turn against someone I think a bet is good)
I maybe wrong about this but I read in "The intelligent poker player" (2+2 book) that we check behind with big draws but not a monster draw.
Now are we doing this because we are 40% against hands that are beating us and we have a free draw with 40% equity? Or are we doing this because when we do miss we now either have to bluff a river or fold to a bet or have marginal showdown value? Or does it balance our range when we check back similar to other hands we check back in this spot
edit: I do like a smaller reraise liek 575-650 with a b/c mentality.
