[55 Turbo] - bottom pair + 2 draw OTT

25 hands so far, he flats all my open. OTF he x/r on 956cc, x/f on dry flop and donk bet on K69r and double barrell turn.
What's the best play OTT? Standard check behind? I can see a lot of KT hands or stuff like that x/c OTF, but at the same we don't have much foldequity.

For what it's worth I would have played it exactly like you did vs a readless opponent.

Yes, but we have some reads. He is very loose preflop, his range isn't too strong OTT but at the same time we don't have much foldequity and a x/r sucks.

Why do you think that bet/call turn is better than a check behind?

I'd prefer the check behind on the turn over bet/calling.

    Looks fine.

Check behind and lower raise on river imo.

I would have reraised the river too 400/450 jut to get some more value.
I like the check on the turn tho

    +1

I prefer this re raise size, since he is very loose after the flop I think we are more likely to get donk calls and even bad players will shove over the top here thinking they can push you out. Calling off 200 - 250 more chips I think would have gotten this guy to call, where as he sees a 700+ chips needed to call your shove.

(First just want to say this is obviously not every opponent. If he we have decent fold equity on the turn against someone I think a bet is good)

I maybe wrong about this but I read in "The intelligent poker player" (2+2 book) that we check behind with big draws but not a monster draw.

Now are we doing this because we are 40% against hands that are beating us and we have a free draw with 40% equity? Or are we doing this because when we do miss we now either have to bluff a river or fold to a bet or have marginal showdown value? Or does it balance our range when we check back similar to other hands we check back in this spot

edit: I do like a smaller reraise liek 575-650 with a b/c mentality.

Semi-bluffing "because we have equity" is not the right reasoning IMHO if we don't have (enough) fold equity.

we can call profitably once we bet since we have a lot of draws but in general we never get it in ahead there and the fold equity we have comes from hands that we want to stay one more street and try to bluff us out

I think this is easily the best move to make, i prefer something like 325 because we have a lot of outs, but vulnerable hand so we need to put him on a decision for his whole stack.
