50s overshove river as a bluff??

No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t10.00/t20.00 Blinds - 2 players -

Hero (BTN/SB): t1510.00 75.50 BBs
BB: t1490.00 74.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is BTN/SB with 7 K
Hero raises to t40, BB calls t20

Flop: (t80) T 4 J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t40.00, BB raises to t140, Hero calls t100

Turn: (t360) T (2 players)
BB bets t200.00, Hero calls t200

River: (t760) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t1130.00

How about this hand? Turn is a bad card here and i am not sure if calling is optimal here when it hits?

As played i think villain is like never checking Tx or Ax here so this must be a good spot to shove? In game i thought it is easy shove, because if i bet like 400 he could call with Jx and i do not see him calling such overshove.

Seems fine but I dont like a lot because that polarize your range to bluff/nuts and he could call with a Jx as a bluff catcher. I don't know but if he is a thinking reg he can assume that you Tx hands will raise the turn so many times (the board is heavy wet). I prefer as played, smaller size on river, something like 400-500.

You dont like rearise flop?

I don't think reraising flop does much job here, if he has a draw we are ahead of most of it and if he has like Jx he is not folding it and i am just creating big pot. I think calling here is better but i could be wrong.

Not sure what you mean here that villain c/c on the turn, if he chechs here i would defiantly check back and as played you are right that he has a lot of Jx in his range but i thought he would fold it.

But as mentioned before our range is really polarised here and we have a lot of draws, thats why betting smaller doesn't do anything good i think.

He'll c/c Jx on turn some % of the time, and river you beat all his draws. Just check back.

If you bluff here, what are you exactly representing? KQ? An A? KQ or an A with a FD? Don't just ship your chips into the pot and hope he mucks his J9. Look what you want to represent, and check your flop & turn action to see if your behaviour on previous streets is in line with the hand you're trying to represent here. Would you play KQd like this on flop + turn for example?

I have few combinations in my rnage that would shove here. You are right i am not playing KQd like this, but i am playing KQo,Axd, Tx like that here.

So there are some hands that i could have and i like never floating turn with air or turning my marginal SD hands into a bluff. So my range here crush Jx in my opinion.

Anything but a call ott is really bad. River is a check behind. Villain either folds hands you already beat or call with JT type hands.

You can bluff the river if you have a worse FD.
