5$ 6high flush

Poker Stars $5.00+$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t10/t20 Blinds - 2 players -

BB: t1055 52.75 BBs
Hero (BTN/SB): t1945 97.25 BBs

Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is BTN/SB with 6 4
Hero raises to t40, BB calls t20

Flop: (t80) K 9 J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t55, BB calls t55

Turn: (t190) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (t190) 5 (2 players)
BB bets t960 all in, Hero folds

He was TAG, folding to a lot of 2xBB raises pre. He probably had me as a LAG, I had 3bet him AI pre once. Most of the pots were taken down preflop.

Re: 5$ 6high flush

his range is made up of so little back draw flush draws and that there is less combos of them and there is more combos of 2p/straights this is a pretty easy snap call

Jesus christ man, there's no read you could ever have strong enough to fold here. Flopped straight, flopped set, turned set, rivered set, badly played twopairs, just never fold here and you will make money in the long run.

Seriously? Flop c-bet is okay I guess, but why would you bet on the turn when you actually picked something? Would you call a check-raise on the turn?

Re: 5$ 6high flush

your 6 high isn't gonna win the pot when u check back turn and river bricks. i'd fold to a turn c/r of course.

Re: 5$ 6high flush

i dunno why people want to bet turn, it opens us up to turn CRs, and the 9x/gutshot hands he is folding are a pretty tiny part of his range; as opposed to the Kx/Jx hands that will not fold to a turn bet. A made backdoor flush is worth checking for a free card b/c you get tons of value from slowplayed hands, or if villain wants to try and steal on river.

as for the river....yeh

Re: 5$ 6high flush

Don't think you can ever fold a runner runner flush on a non paired board in a $5 HUSNG

His line looks kinda nutsy though, passively played K T... (can't see a lot of A in his range)
