IMO that's no enough given the fact that we don't talk about "real" EVs. The way pt4 calculates the EV implies a decent amount of variance as well

So much changes over a 2k game sample for almost anyone. They get better or worse, things change in their life, they play different opponents and then of course there's standard variance. As you said there's huge variance in PT4 EV based on when the money gets in, how many draws you miss on the turn etc.

It doesn't really matter though. If someone good enough to get in has bad results over a given sample they can just play again. Anyone who puts all their focus and time into it can play 2-3k games/month against the division.

the last 3 days I played 30$ HU Hyper Sngs on stars without knowing all this division rules. After I found out and someone told me that I would be considered as a sit/decliner, I contacted a division leader (genarr0) on the table to talk to him and explain the issue asking for his skype. He said "no way" and stuff like that and then didn't answer at all.
For me this is a confusing situation. How should everyone know about all these things.
I think some of the division players I played should have inform me about all the rules that there are to follow and the consequences it has if this rules are being violated.
Also the information in the OP and the spreadsheet differ.
So who do I have to contact now to clear this issue. Now that i know all the rules I will strictly follow them, but I need someone to talk to now.

Ok, so here is the update after I talked to division leader oxyzak.
I stated my point of view and the leaders had a discussion.
They decided to ban me because I sit/declined today. Today I only played 3 games. The first against Fateweaver, who told me that I would be listed as sit/decliner after I asked him for a 2nd table. I told him that I would decline to talk to a leader, which he was ok with. To clear this issue I sat division leader genarr0. I directly asked him for Skype to tell him what was going on. He said "no way" and other things like that I don't really remember exactly, but he definitely was ignorant. I asked him again and he didn't answer anymore so I said i would decline to talk to another leader, which I did in game 3. So in game 3 I talked to oxy who gave me his skype then and declined to talk about the problem.

So the reason for banning me is that I declined genarr0 in game 2. Remember, that I sat genarr0 to tell him what was going on and to clear the situation. My highest priority was to clarify anything, which genarr0 wasn't capable of. In my opinion, as a division leader it is genarr0s duty to hear myself and not to just ignore me. Oxy instantly gave me his skype and had an open ear for me. In my opinion thats the way a division leader should treat a situation like this.
In the end I get punished for genarr0s incompetence of clarifying the situation, which I think is highly unfair.

i think i sat you a few times and you are clearly not a regular at those levels. they sometimes bitch about that stuff, when i battled for the division they considered me a sitdecliner because i played 2 games on 30s overall before where sharky misregged 30s instead of 15s.
they have no idea what sit-declining is, if you sit them once and decline u are considered sitdeclining already.

For me this is just totally disproportionate and abuse of power.
What do they say when someone already played like 1k games vs division without any incidents and then disclines one game by mistake? Instant ban for 6 months again?
I thouhgt this rule was made to protect members from beeing taken away their first place in the waitinglist, then getting declined and have to be in the waitinglist again.
I just sat genarr0 to clearify the situation. If I would have sat oxy first, there wouldnt even be a problem, so now I get punished because I unfortunately picked genrr0 to clarify the situation.

I am also interested in this issue. Previously, I played a few games with different players to have fun. Now I decided to become trier and has already played with one of the players. Now I do not know whether or not to continue.

I have not found in the rules of how often I can play with the same player. Somebody knows?

Then what is the point in 30 minutes rules? If I can sit him again, and he will be obliged to play for another 30 minutes.

the point is that members have to play for at least 30 minutes instead of just quitting after the first game.

I need to play only 600 games to get the 2k, and my EV is promising to get in there.

If someone have a recently updated PT4 report vs 30s division, can someone upload it pls in some filesharing site and drop a link here? I think its should be much easyer for all of us challangers.
