[15$ - Turbo] ATo vs Reg

The villain was playing normal TAG style, with a few 3bets.

I dont know what is the correct line here; fold preflop seems little weak but if i shove im sure that his calling range crush me and he is no 3betting enough to make shove profitable by make him fold. So i decide to call and play postflop, How i should react in this situation?

I like your play. If you think your opponent has not a great preflop 3betting range you should not beat a lot of hands.

If my opponent starts to 3bet kinda loose I would also start preflop to 4bet for value or 4bet bluff this kinda deep.

Without reads I would have played it as you did.

By my homble opinion, you played it in right way. You cant ship preflop, you cant fold. Post flop, you cant do anything here.

I think the decision between shoving and flatting are close. We don't dominate much with this hand, because most worse Ax is just flatting, and not much Tx 3bets except 3b bluffs like T6s, so flatting doesn't have too much merit.

If villain has a calling range of AJo+, ATs+, 99+, if my maths is correct we only need 42.8% folds to make shoving +EV, which means his 3b range has to be 15.42%, and if he's a reg and has 3bet a few times, I think he will be 3betting enough to shove here.

why are we folding flop? I mean even vs a lot of his PPs we have 6 outs, and he's cbetting this board 100% with all his bluffs (any big ace). With reads that he's on the tight side we can float and bet many turns profitably i think.

    Thx4comment guys.

I need to do the math about shoving but i think now that can be EV+.

Other question about the hand is what i would do in this kind of flops. I dont like the fold for the same reasons that commented PlzDontCall but without a plan floating or raising don't have any sense to me.

If he had hands like KQ,T9s or any speculative hands in his range i prefer raise the flop because any card of the turn will help more his range than mine. In other side, if he only 3bets for strictly value hands like AT+,88+ then i like floating if he will had fit or fold tendencies. But when you are readless and only know that is a reg, what i should do?

lol, Im really confused with the plan in this hand

I think I may float flop, If he bets turn and we havent improved then i would fold unless his bet sizing is really strange & low.
