It was quite odd the way he played, I don't see anyone playing QQ~AA in that spot I guess, and TT would be splited, I was just worried about a JJ and a 99.
Was that an OK call? Should I shove pre flop readless in this spot?

Yeah, shove pre. You're missing out too much value by not shoving it.

As played check back turn, no reason to bet.

readless 66 bb deep i probably shove preflop 99+,AJ+ over a 3bet.Now as played the only hands with which villain valuebet river are pocket sixes and more possible pocket nines.still i think that rarely villain bluff at this spot so probably we should fold river.

shove pre or 4b/c depending on dynamic.

check turn for sure, if you're going to bet you have to bet small to induce spew.

as played otr it's such an absurd spot because you're getting 4:1 but it's pretty much impossible for him to have a bluff after he x/c's turn. the only reason this is even close to a call is because of the pot odds we're getting combined with the random spaz factor. against anyone sane this is a fold. he can have a fair few combos of value hands - JJ, 66, 99, QQ+, good Jx which decided to take a weird line. OTOH think what kind of bluffs he can have to take this bizarre line - not many come to mind.

    Why to check the turn?

People dont ch/r a ton the turn, plus they dont check a jack as well most of the times.

That's not the point, what worse hands do we expect him to call?

    It is the point.
you protect your equity since 99% you re in front against nit players, and you get called by fd,88-99 and every othet hands vilain decides to call and he is behind.

Dont you think you in front most of the times here?If he gonna ch/r us we are simply behind.every fd bets the turn, doesnt ch/r the turn so i see almost 0 hands to ch/r us here.

I don't think I'm 99% ahead here. Jx can play this way and it makes a lot of sense too. Not every FD bets the turn either.

I'm getting this in PF, jam seems best.

I like the turn bet. We don't save a ton very by checking the turn and this is often going to be overs.

We definitely aren't ahead 99% of the time though. I think QQ+ is a fair part of his value range, as well as 99/66 and less often Jx

I call river readless because of his flop sizing. His line just isn't congruent and we're getting 4:1. Not excited though
