Question 11.50$ turbo,KJo OOP

Ok,this is probably a pretty standard spot but i'm not really sure.24th hand.
Villain was loose but played pretty straight forward postflop, nothing really spewy. He didn't seem to be able to fold his draws even if he wasn't getting a great price though.

On the river i guess shoving is the best option altough that card kinda completes all the draws he could have.C/f seems way to week and c/c feels pretty bad too since he might check back some weaker kx and 8x that are probably going to call the shove.

Thoughts on every street apreciated.

Standard and well played imo. We don't love life on this river but it's not like we're gonna c/f with this stack-to-pot ratio.

Re: 11.50$ turbo,KJo OOP

Preflop and flop lead both are pretty standard, I'd do the same. Being OOP I would check the turn, the 7s only serves T9 or 54, hands unlikely for him to have have given his preflop call and, more importantly, given that he called your cbet. Even if he called these gutshots in the flop, betting here doesn't help as you'll either be away ahead or way behind. Anyway, being OOP I'd probably check the turn for pot control. Then, you'd have an easy b/f in the river with the completed draws, or even c/f. By doing pot control in the turn I guess I'd go for bet/fold, in order to get some value out of a weaker king or something like Q8, J8...

Well, I'm no expert, but this spot got complicated once you inflated the pot OOP with just a top-pair hand, with a smaller pot the river would be easier to play. Besides, following your plan, shoving the river probably has no value, you'll fold all hands you're beating (any Kx) and you'll get called by all hands that are beating you...

^^ Well, inflating the pot oop with a hand like kjo and felting it once i hit tpgk against the described villain seemed reasonable when i played the hand tbh.We were only 30bb deep.

You cannot potcontrol this turn, so many bad river cards. OP played it fine.
